KCwagon
The half inch wide ring of rust, that will form around the unswept portion of the rotor, should be plenty distracting.

Sideways the Seven
So would this same setup be possible on the smaller OBXT rotor? Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk -Brandon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT3 1981 Chevrolet C10 LWB
Cone_Killer
Not with the KNS front bracket. Your pad won't seat properly onto the face of the rotor.
Sideways the Seven
Hmm... I may just need to stick to the LGT upgrade idea. Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2 -Brandon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT3 1981 Chevrolet C10 LWB
boxkita
Not with the KNS front bracket. Your pad won't seat properly onto the face of the rotor. if KNS were to remake the bracket, this caliper might fit the OB discs better with its smaller diameter. not so much unswept area Build my car Boxkita Track days
AZP Installs
News flash... The OB brakes are the same rotors as the WRX. So your better bet is to just get 06-07 WRX front brakes or the FHI 4-pots and call it a day. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. The OB ones are the same part number as the 08+ WRX. jfg22557
Going to bump this thread with a relevant question to avoid starting a new thread. I run the FHI 4 Pots up front with 06 WRX rotors, and currently have a pair of rear FHI 2 pots on the way. Cone_Killer, I read in your thread that you attempted to use a WRX backing plate for the rear, just curious as to why? Do the 2 pots (whether they be the nissan or FHI) not fit with the LGT rear backing plate? I dont believe I'm missing anything else, thanks for the info. The Nissan/FHI rear calipers are nearly identical (nissan sits a few mm's higher). The two mounting points on the calipers are the same though. I was going to use the 06/07 back plates because they are made for the FHI calipers (ie. correct mounting points) and to keep it as OEM as possible. If you can't use these back plates, then you need to use a bracket from either Kartboy or FastWRX that will adapt the slider caliper mounting points to the ones of the nissan/FHI. You CANNOT use these back plates on the 05+ legacy but I believe you can use them on any non-sti impreza or any subaru with the same rear hub (possibly older legacy's?) Do you have a link to the exact bracket necessary? I can't imagine its the same kartboy bracket used for the tear brembo conversion? Appreciate the help, -Jake That is correct, we cannont use the backing plates. The brackets also won't work because the Z32 rear caliper is taller than the subaru FHI. You may be able to get the bracket and redrill the stock backing plate to lower the caliper down, however I'm not sure about this.

I think the Z32 rear caliper also has a bit different offset so the LGT rear rotor would not be centered in the Z32 caliper. Our rear bracket should work w/ the FHI 2 pots though. TeriyakiBBS
I rebuilt calipers with a kit from Z1 Motorsports and painted the calipers red and kept the Nissan white. I am not proud of the fitment. On the top and bottom of the caliper the edge closest to the rotors touches very slightly and rubs when driving. I had to shave down with a file to make sure it clears. $100 30mm Z32 Calipers $150 KNS Z32 Brackets $100 Centric LGT Rotors $50 StopTech Pads $30 Z32 Rebuild Kit $17 ATE SuperBlue I already have StopTech SS Brake Lines Grimmspeed BMC Brace StopTech Rear Pads and Centric Rotors http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zpsffdc4d18.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zps76e56a19.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zpsca2bd6b4.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zpsb4eb5329.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zpsa22574de.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zps12c27ba5.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p318/FLCLgibson1968/null_zpsb7028cff.png

TeriyakiBBS
The calipers are not a perfect fit even with the brackets and I had to use a giant file to shave off some of the calipers closest to the rotor. After that was completed I have had little issues.
