  1. dayum I feel like mine is cleaner then this and I had it listed here for 7K USD and got no takers. Finally decided to just nut up and start working on it.
  2. 450WHP sounds like very powerful to daily drive.. From what I've gathered from my personal research in looking to mod out my LGT, if you want to go all out you're going to spend like $7K(on the low end) prob more like $10K+ to get the mods to support a bigger turbo. To go with that new engine you'll may need a side of bigger injectors, 3" Turboback exhaust, (catted is fine), prob an E 85 conversion kit, fuel pump, AOS, catch can, TGV delete, maybe even a better TMIC and with that turbo a new intake if you're trying to get above 350 and that's not to mention the Cobb AP and the protune and most likely other things that my uninformed ass is missing. Someone else will have a more valid opinion than I but for what its worth, I would prob sell that 18g turbo, use the funds to acquire a gently used stock turbo and just start slow, maybe a nice catted DP and catback exhaust to go with an AP and tune. You can prob get close to 300 WHP without too much fuss, keep the stock intake and TMIC and then maybe get a nice set of rims and tires if you don't already have it.
  3. Looking to see if anyone stateside has a spare Double Din setup they are willing to part with. Seems like AVO is always out of stock and I'm sure that shipping fee from AUS will be insane anyways. https://avojdm.com/dual-zone-av-panel-set-h6217ag911/ Let me know - Thanks!
  4. Looking to do this job as well in the near term. Looks like AVO is once again out of stock.. any one know of other manufactures out there or anyone have an extra Dual Climate DD that they don't need? https://avojdm.com/dual-zone-av-panel-set-h6217ag911/

  9. 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon Limited 5MT Color: New Port Blue Miles: 223,xxx KM (138,xxx miles) Transmission: 5MT Title: Clean, no accidents Lien: No Lien Location: Huntington Beach, CA VIN: 4S3BP676466315228 Seller's email address: Erik.blanchv@gmail.com Asking Price: $7,800 Background Information: For sale is my 5 speed manual 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Wagon with 138,xxx miles. The car is Newport Blue in color with black leather interior and heated seats thanks to the Limited trim. I am the third owner and purchased the car from a person who moved to the US from Canada, which is its place of origination. That is why the dash board reads in KMs and not miles. Being from Canada the car also has some rust along the bottom. I replaced the mufflers with 2 new OEM mufflers, and I have replaced the Y pipe as well with a new OEM piece. I will also include a gently used OEM turbo backup (~5K Mi on turbo so i'm told, no shaft play, looks very clean). Oil is changed frequently (<5,000 Miles) and it goes without saying that this car has been stock its entire life and not driven hard. It has a clean title and has no accidents, etc. to report. I recently had the clutch replaced, it now single mass fly wheel and runs great. As for the interior, very good shape esp for a car with over 100K miles. Some wear and tear on the drivers side seat but other than that pretty good. Includes carpet floor mats. Keep in mind she is bone stock. Paint is good less a few small small scuffs and scratch on passenger side. Not sure the exact number of LIMITED 5MT GT Legacy GT Wagons but I know they're extremely rare. Hoping she can get to a good home. I love this car and have put good time and effort into it by this time, however with a child now on the way I am willing to consider parting ways with her for the right price. Thanks for looking feel free to reach out with any questions. Some may have seen this posted previously for $7000- I have raised the price and I am firm and the reason for that is that the previous pricing had in mind the fact that the car needed a new clutch. I have since had the clutch professionally replaced and car is fully operational. Features 6-CD changer with aftermarket audio aux plug (custom mod to stock stereo) Heated seats Electric wiper de-ice Rear wiper Dual power seats Dual-zone thermostat climate control Very large panoramic moonroof Roof racks
  10. Sounds like you are doing the right thing. My recommendation would be as above, stay on them but try to stay civil and pleasant (not saying you haven't been). As someone who has been customer facing for my entire adult life I can't stress it enough, people are way more willing to correct their mistake and work with you to make things right if you are nice, pleasant but still firm. Avoid name calling, degrading etc. At the end of the day whoever is going to reimburse you is just like us trying to get paid and keep their job while they pick up the pieces of another rando worker who fucked up. Good luck hope they make it right.
  11. Take it to a shop to have the compression/leakdown and turbo checked BEFORE you purchase. You'll be sad if you buy a $3,800 car and find out you need another $3,800 in engine work in short order. The streets don't accept returns. Given you're in Canadia you will want to check the underside to see the extent that rust has set in. Make sure they have refreshed the undercoat etc. As someone who owns a Canadian Wagon the rust is real on these things. Check the entire exhaust system down there, if its stock the pipes have rusted together it'll just mean you'll some extra work to do. Assuming you have consistent compression and no leaks, buy that sucker. $3800 is a steel, that's ~$2800 USD for those of us stateside.
  12. Welcome to the community. You can still get a nice rumble if you're willing to swap the exhaust maybe a few other pieces. At the end of the day they are going to be similar- a lot of the same part#s etc. it just comes down to your preference. I imagine the Leggy will be more comfortable in the backseat. I can't speak to lag between shifts on an auto but I believe they use the same transmission if it's the similar model years. My recommendation given that you're looking for a used car is to drive a couple of each and see what you like best. Most important advice I can give is to keep some extra money around for repairs, they do tend to add up quickly and Turbo Subaru's do require extra TLC. Change the oil often (8000 KM). Low mileage will be better and you can always ask an import mechanic to take a look prior to purchase. Most will do it for free or a nominal fee. Cant stress that enough. I've never owned a WRX but I assume the Legacy is slightly more finicky but we love em. Best of luck and enjoy
  13. ya it's dooable. Not super fun but dooable. There are some good youtube videos out there on it. Try to keep the fluids consistent so use subaru ATF if you've never changed it. Just need 4 jack stands and a bottle pump takes less than an hour. It'll drain roughly 6 QTS but I think the capacity is closer to 12QTs Per o'Rileys. I've seen some people do another change after 5K miles to try to get more fresh fluid in there but its up to you. Or you can just have a Lube Shop flush and change FTW.

  15. Without looking it up they most likely put the DMFW on there. The local dealer I referenced earlier stated they wouldn't do anything but that DMFW and cited that as the reason for their high quote. Never went through with it myself but hey $1300 isn't to bad I wouldn't let it get you down in the dumps.
  16. those damn stealerships... Maybe find out if you can use the Good Will voucher on gear (hoodies etc) then either return it like a few weeks later and claim you lost the receipt and paid cash or resell it.
  17. For what it's worth my local subie dealership in HB quoted me over $2k a few weeks ago for clutch and flywheel (parts/labor). Sounded outrageous to me.
  18. Awesome to see. I might be in the 'needs a new motor camp' here pretty soon. Did you machine the heads and change gasket prior to installing the new motor or was that already done prior to purchase? Or did you just drop it and rock it?
  19. sure thing. I tried Uber Sports but wasn't really satisfied with their prelim diagnosis and unwillingness to do all the tests before jumping straight to full engine rebuild rec. Looks like they do good work but you gotta be willing to shell out the top $$. Let me know if you find a good alt or end up going there and have +/- feedback.
  20. As far as the file size- If you are using your phone to take the photos, you can just email them to yourself and you'll be prompted to reduce the file size before the email is sent (iphone, I assume android is the same). Just pick medium size and then use your computer to post them on the forums like Tehnation said. It'll keep the fidelity of the photo and skip the resizing step.
