Dave this is an upgrade I plan to do as well. i already have a set of Blitz side feeds from another build platform, do you recommend not using those? These have about 10k on them. Is it best to go with the top feeds instead and other than injectors what else in the fueling should be upgraded? Sorry for the noob question but this is a new platform for me. TIA~

Goob's OBXT
Spoolin06XT replied to goob_os101's topic in Third Generation Subaru Outback (2004 – 2009)
Nice pick up. How did those TurboXS mufflers work with the OB bumper? Any clearance issues? How is the exhaust tone? I want to get a set for my OB and they are local to me. Just hard to find outbacks with this exhaust/mufflers to get a good opinion on them. -

Are the RacerX FMIC made to order? I don't ever see it or any other LGT/OBXT parts advertised on his site.

New member here having issues posting, replying to posts, viewing pictures and sending PM's. It's a hit or miss and gives me a message of either I am trying to edit another members' post, or the admin took away my authority to post. Can an admin look into this for me? -
I am a huge fan of the Osram's too. Had them in my TL and it was awesome, lit up the entire road. Then I put them in my LS 430, second to none. If they ar direct replacement for the JDM headlights that's good to know as I want a pair of those to put on my outback. I would definitely get the Osram if they will fit in your headlights, you won't be disappointed.

Also you can get them on RockAuto. They are labeled NGK but actually Diamond make them for NGK and it will have both NGK and Diamond on the coil pack. -

Sorry to thread jack, but is there a link to the OEM timing belt kit? Pump, seals, hoses for the H2O pump, idlers, tensioner and so on.......?? I will be doing my timing belt in the next upcoming couple weeks and want to make sure I have everything needed before I start. Thanks in advance.... -
Cadillac ATS Brembo Caliper Upgrade for your Subaru
Spoolin06XT replied to LatentWagen's topic in Suspension/Brakes
Thanks doru I never knew of that site. Can I assume the front brembo are a direct bolt on? Yea those rear brembos are a pretty penny. $200 for rear shoes that's ludicrous. -
Cadillac ATS Brembo Caliper Upgrade for your Subaru
Spoolin06XT replied to LatentWagen's topic in Suspension/Brakes
Hey everyone, I am a newbie to subies. I have always had interest in them but stayed on my Toyota/Lexus/Honda platforms. I recently found a 06 OBXT 5MT that I couldn't pass on. I am still learning the car and won't do any mods until another couple months when I know for sure all my maintenance have been done. I did see the STI Brembo brake upgrade that I do want to do, however I am not seeing any details on what is needed for this upgrade. I know I need the calipers but not seeing if there are adapter brackets needed for the swap and where to get them, which brake lines to use, any problems I should know about, anyone on here that did the swap can tell there experiences and how difficult is the mod. Is there a thread on here that outlines this or on another site that someone knows of? I would appreciate any information you guys can provide or direction you can point me in to find this info. I did read the brake section on this site and it does give some vital information but none of what I am looking for. Thanks in advance in advance for any help you guys can provide. -

Luv the thread bro. You work is great and inspiring. Now you have me looking at STI wheels...lol. I think the mirrors are anti-glare, I had a pair of them on my crotch-rocket and they work great! That clean look with the red tails and the black car was a nice combo. If your importer wants to do another set of headlights with switch and wiring, Im game Subbed and tuned! -

I agree with Carbon, both of your cars look awesome! Thank you for sharing your detailed build on both your cars. I hope to modify my "one" to the level as yours. Your attention to detail is beyond OCD and I luv it!!! All your choices of wheels match the car so well. I am a newbie to the XT only having mine for 2 weeks. Is the JDM headlights a direct bolt on and PnP for the USDM? And is the only other feature leveling and the clear turns? Like how you red out the amber in the factory tails, looks like it should have came like that from the factory. The side mirrors look like it has a blue anti-glare tint on it, does it in fact? Love the look, simple, so clean and effective. Thanks for sharing. -
