Didn't have time to wash the specB the last time I washed the Crosstrek, but I started with blasting all the gunk off of the poor B before getting started on the Crosstrek.

Thanks for the invites Febreze Mee!
Sorry I've missed these.
Sadly the specB is still without wheels.

@m sprank Those pedals remind me of my Steel Battalions controls more than they remind me of my Fanatec set up!

Set it up, resting on the stock wheels with some really thick Subaru cardboard between the wheels and the frame.

I really don't want to buy, but incase the SSRs stolen off of my specB don't turn up I'm thinking of getting a set of the classic Legacy 5 spoke wheels - 28111AG04A
Wondering if anyone might know of a set available in the Seattle area for a reasonable price?
-
I called the King County Sheriffs Department to report that someone came along while I was out and stole my SSRs!
Now I have to figure out what to rest the car on. Maybe some 6x6 wood blocks...

I think it was last week, but I washed the poor beasty.
Every time I wash the Crosstrek I tell the specB that I'll wash it, but it usually too late and I have to start discombobulating all the wash gear.
But the wild fire ash was a bit much so the specB finally got a decent wash.

Here are the last updates via the wayback machine. Maybe we can get them moved over?
I might have more information in my digests that vB sent me than what they have at The Wayback Machine so that might be a better source of information if they wanted to do such a thing.

FWIW, for those of us that are not good with computers, could you explain what "full digest", "bulk digest" and "separate digest" means ? In simple terms. Some of us older folks may not understand.
Basically a digest is an email sent by the server that contains posts from subscribed threads.
The way vB did it was you would get one email for each thread and each post was completely there, on a daily basis. No new posts, then no email. I would call that a FULL and also a SEPARATE digest.
The way IPB currently does it is to send you one email with a highlight from just a few posts for all of the threads that you've specified to send emails. I would call that an INCOMPLETE and also a BULK digest.

I answered in the BtSsm thread, but this is a better place for it:
Not sure, but I think the BTSSM thread was deleted...

Can we get separate digests for the individual threads instead of a bulk digest for all of the threads?
Just wondering if this can be a thing, or are full digests of each thread lost forevers?

Where is this ( http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/btssm-bluetooth-adapter-app-229709.html ) thread?
SC

I can't even tell you how many links I have to posts in the archived threads that were lost because of that decision to eliminate years of knowledge in those threads.
At this point, I can't even find the BTSSM thread. I'm subscribed to it, but there hasn't been a post to it since I was last here so it's not showing in the topics I follow section.

Oof sorry to hear that. Is everyone ok?
Thanks xt2005bonbon and Underdog!
Nobody was injured, she just ended up in the ditch. I had to pull the bumper, that was mostly off already, off. The radiator support is bent and the radiator is slightly peaked but doesn't seem to be cracked, so at minimum I'm looking at a bumper and a radiator.
Every body shop is booked into mid February. I got lucky with my rental and ended up with a '21 Crosstrek Sport.

I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year!
My year didn't end so well, and if anyone knows a good body shop in the Seattle/Tacoma area that would be great!

I had an incident with the specB and I'm in need of a body shop.
Any recommendations for Seattle or Tacoma, that might be able to work on it now and not 2 months from now?
Might need to have the frame checked so the shop should have one of those frame straightening setups.

Finally remembered to change the time.
It's kinda hard to remember which menus to dig through on the Nav to get to setting the time!

I've been looking at SH Foresters to use as a winter car/weekend getaway/overlanding vehicle.
I posted about a different issue with a Foz that I found on CL, but a fair difference away, and I was warned about excessive oil consumption on the FB engines.
I'm wondering if it's really bad, or if it's any worse than my EJ?
Also, are there any other concerns over the FB engine that I should be aware of?

TPMS came on, and I checked the tires when I was at a friends.
All the tires were just low, perhaps due to the cold snap, so I grabbed my pump and pumped them all up.
And killed the ancient battery.
Two hours later, AAA showed up and got me going.
So, there is now a new Interstate battery in the car!
And I also gave it a wipe down to get the last weeks ash off of it.

Did the quarterly oil change.
156k and going!

Replaced the A/C relay in the engine compartment, and connected the test connectors and let it cycle a dozen times.
Then fired it up and tested it with turning the A/C on and off, and I could hear it engaging and disengaging.
Hopefully that's it and the compressor is still good for the rest of eternity!
Thank you for your help Max!

I know which one it is, but it just won't come out.
Both of the local stealerships want $13 for a $7 relay.
