#2 here for a fiberglass version. No need for carbon fiber for me

AOS is legal as long as it doesn’t remove or relocate the PCV. Grimmspeed is the only AOS legal in California AFAIK. I passed with it.
If you’re worried about smog, I would just put the OEM intake on for the day and use the stock tune it was designed for like you’re supposed to. I’ve been hot smogging so I don’t have to deal with the return to stock BS anymore. Intakes even though they have a CARB sticker need an EO number on it that can be looked up. Most of the time you don’t need an aftermarket intake anyways unless you’re over the 350whp threshold. Stock is more reliable and effective.

Yes, switch left and right. If it's not the bulb then there is either an issue with your lens maybe condensation (since it looks like its been raining in that pic) or reflectors are melting which I doubt.

Subwoofer is designed to be under the drivers seat. The cut out is for the McIntosh factory upgrade with I believe 12 speakers total or something like that was possible. Two in the rear doors, two on the rear deck, 3 on each of the driver doors (next to mirror, tweeter location, and the big one in the bottom), one speaker in the middle of the dashboard, and the subwoofer in the bottom of the drivers seat.
I wouldn’t put a subwoofer back there, but you can probably put regular speakers in that spot and cut holes in the rear deck fabric.

If you wanted to sell just the pipes I MAY be interested in just the core.

The two wheel swap dance is a bother but it’s a lot safer to have a full sized tire in the front for turning purposes, even more especially in the snow and rain. Just my two cents.

04 STI is 5x100

I’d have to imagine the spare tire from an STI would work right? Usually you’d move the flat tire to the rear anyways and put the spare there.

Depending on how worn your bushings are, it is completely possible that even a non adjustable replacement will affect toe. Sometimes you can ask the shop who did your alignment before if you can get just a quick measurement after your alignment just to double check (after you installed everything) and you can compare but sometimes you can’t.

I may want that Fiberglass one. And I'll talk @maasaiwarrior into sending your the CyberR one he has so you can make a copy of it! Lol
Yes, please make a CyberR version... I beg.

Also update me when you get that passenger seat installed, I’m in the same boat. Most of the threads on here don’t have working pictures anymore to help with the modifications needed.

Sorry for the off-topic question but did you get any rub when you had the H&Rs and 235/40s?
Nope. I rolled the front fenders before that setup though. Depending on wheel offset you wouldn’t need to roll them, at least for a sedan.

Well if you were to ship them, I'd buy them!
If you really want to cover full cost of shipping I’ll do it. I’ll leave this up for a week to see if there are any local pick ups

I used a Perrin STI alternator cover. I used the spacer provided for the left bolt and I lined up the hole onto the thin alternator cover bracket and drilled through. Then I used my own bolts and lock nut setup with threadlocker to secure the right side.

Either 5/8ths or 1/2. Those are the hoses I purchased for my AOS which uses that line.
Edit: Looked back at my install, it’s 1/2.

Well, that timed pulse relay was exactly what I needed. I still have it triggered by the BIU dome light brown wire. But this relay will hold power to the lights for an adjustable amount of seconds. I have it set to about 15 seconds. Only down side is that it turns on after I close the door too for 15 seconds. Not much of a bother right now
I may also use the same trigger for the fog lights...

Tried my hand at installing 08-14 STI seats this afternoon. Need to buy a larger Torx bit to get the seatbelt buckle off the STI rails.

You could use the device below to set the puddle lights on a timer. If you wire the trigger into the keyless unlock wire and diode isolate it from the unlock door switch side you could have it trigger the lights on for a preset time upon keyless unlock and not when you unlock from the door switch.

You may find it cheaper elsewhere this was just for reference
I think this might be exactly what I needed. Going to order it and give it a shot.

Yes. I did the map light mod. Great upgrade since my dome light is like 2ft behind my head due to the sunroof. If you do it make sure to follow instructions as they’re posted and use LEDs in place of incandescents to reduce load on the BIU. You may or may not be successful adding puddle light to this mod as I don’t think anyone has info on what the BIU can handle load wise. Maybe if you can figure out the load applied by the single dome bulb and compare it to load applied by the number of LEDs you want to add you may be able to keep yourself from burning up the BIU dome light circuit. BTW Since the BIU fades out the lighting a relay added to the circuit will most likely chatter/buzz as it dims.
As a you said, it does chatter and buzz as it dims... not entirely sure how to go about this.
Maybe I can use the turn signal/hazard instead?

Bump, anyone with experience doing this mod with the map lights and dome lights?
