Today being slow at work i decided to clean and degrease the Legacy. As a tow truck operator with a car with tan leather interior, I can attest that dirt/grime build up happens quick! Interior is clean, glass is clean, and so is the outside. At this point you can really see how beat up the front bumper cover is. It's disheartening. I have a plan with a OB cover and modding it to remove the flares. Seeing decently clean again makes me miss driving it even more. Oh! And I changed the oil, did a quick underneath, no major leaks or issues.. though, now I'm wondering about a header...

That's where I've been finding all of my deals.. FB marketplace. I tend to avoid the ones that use FB pay option. I'd rather use my PayPal than have yet another internet site having my CC info.. In spirit of the thread, I drove my car home from work today. I recently picked up an 03 Cavalier 5mt for short money and fixed it up for commuting purposes and finally giving the LGT a break. It's now a weekend car and will now finally be able to get all of its side projects done.. atleast I hope!

That's what I'm basically planning to do to mine when I have the funds again. I already have a better/metal top mount, top feed tgv deletes with ID 1k injectors, gotta pick up a VF52 then save again for a tune. It's fun being the breadwinner and car enthusiast at the same time. It's good to see that setup is also fuel friendly. What's the butt-o-meter tell you for HP?

Not today, but on Saturday I finally replaced my plugs and coil boots. Approximately 1 year and 30k overdue, I'm still trying to find the best and fastest method of replacing them. At this point I use a ⅝ plug socket with an 1½" ⅜ drive extension with a slim ⅜ ratchet with another 1½" extension. Believe it or not, the 2 - 1½" extensions are shorter than a single 3" one! Car runs even better now. And now onto my P0457 issues...

No worries. I just had the t ank replaced. I'm sure all the rubber got replaced too. I'll have to double check.

Anyone have experience with this one? I know it's an evap code. Gas cap is good.

I understand now. In my head being spaced a smidge further away wouldn't cause an an issue. I'm glad I'm wrong and learned something new! Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Which is which? A couple of millimeters thinner I wouldn't think would be an issue because that would allow the pressure plate/hydraulics work normally. Thicker, I can see an issue where there wouldn't be enough room for everything to work. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Nope. All 05 stuff. I assumed you were using an EJ starter with wheel, like I was and had the same issues I had! Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

@rhino6303 Had I known you used a 15+ flywheel I would've suggested using a 15+ starter. I'm sure that'll fix the starting issue. The slippage, I'm willing to bet is the clutch itself not necessarily the wheel. New wheel and clutch setup shouldn't cause issues. When I did mine, I reused EVERYTHING! That clutch had maybe 20k on it and it looked good. No hot spots on the wheel or anything. I do have to replace the clutch hose, it's starting to seep fluid now. Pressure and feel is still great though.. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

No idea... I figured a mod would've seen it and noticed the amount of info contained within and made it so. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Nope. Since the cable replacement, zero issues! Very spirited upshifts and all! At this point I'm gonna be shopping for a short throw, just want something a little quicker. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Welp not I, but a professional.... I had a my windshield replaced. Over spring break for my son, we road tripped down to Georgia then back up to Taxachusetts with another visit in Virginia. Anyways, while driving through SC I heard a loud smack on the windshield. First thought was "that's gonna be bad hit" welp it sure was... the final length of the crack was almost halfway across the windshield. Original windshield finally got replaced and WOW! It's amazing the difference... LOL Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
