  1. My advice is to clean it up,then just keep checking if it comes back.

do you do your oil change?maybe you or whoever did the oil change could've spilled some oil during refilling.

wait nvmd you said passenger side so refilling spill is out,but ya just clean it up and just keep checking and see if it'll come back.

could be your valve cover gasket.

  2. Finally decided to change front and rear fluid @61K,rear was easy, as for the front a bit more work and had issue when i was filling it up,i already put in about over 2 1/2 qts and still no fluid coming out of the check hole,i was like worried a bit but i decided to check the check hole and found a bunch of sludge blocking the hole and so i used a screwdriver and poke the hole and fluid started flowing out,so i just let the fluids come out till it comes to a drip and closed it up,but car runs much smoother.i used Mobile 1 75/90.
  3. just the actuator part is electronic. there is still a butterfly plate that gets carbon build up. when i was a lowly express tech at the dealer we often had to clean the throttle body after disconnecting the battery or doing an ecm update, as the cars would fire right up, but die. douche a rag with throttle body cleaner, push the plate open by hand, it only goes 90 degrees before hitting its stop. wipe both sides of the plate and inner diameter of the throttle chamber. you can be more aggressive with it than you might think. when you go to restart it will crank longer than normal but it may fix your issue.

honestly i'd be surprised if it wasn't something they already tried to do, if it was an actual subaru dealership that is. I have found being in the independent world that these newer cars are a bit of a mystery. the diag tools available aren't as good as subarus.

Wouldn’t disconnecting that battery then cleaning throttle body then connecting battery back would screw up the idle?

  4. I'm looking to start a 2016 Legacy 3.6R Air Suspension project, the typical Airlift 3P Management and bellow/over setup. However, I can't seem to find many others who have any information on a bag setup for 6th gen Legacy/Outback cars. I have questions that I hope can be answered for both myself and anybody else looking to use this platform for air ride.

    - What air suspension are you using and where did you find it? Full Airstrut setup from a specific company, or bagover/sleeveover coil setup?

    - Does any body/subframe notching need to be done in order to fully air out?

    - Is 5th gen air suspension compatible? (in the lack of availability for 6th gen airstruts)

Not looking for any "just buy coilovers" or any basic non-answers. Looking for air suspension related answers only preferrably from anybody currently running bags on a 6th gen legacy or outback. If there is already a thread available (once again- AIR, not coils or springs) please direct me.

They make one for 6th gens

    Just contact them.

Grnlantern1 has a nice setup, might wanna message him.

  5. Man that’s ruff best of luck getting everything resolved. If ur in the market for a new LOC I use the DS18 5channel LOC. I think it was $60 maybe so not to bad.

Ya I had that DS18 LOC for back up that’s what I have hook up right now,but I figured out the issue on the LC7 I opened it up and the solder on the ground broke off, so I went ahead re-tinned it and it’s back up running again.
