The swap thread sticky goes over the complete subframe swap. It looks pretty involved.

I was able to adjust the toe to 1/16 " toe in at front of tires. I was O.K. with that.
-
I got a JDM set up from HKC Speed for 525 shipped.
-
I just put these on My OBXT with JDM BP5 bilstiens. It made the alignment settings a breeze.
-
Thanks, great info. I'll probably get 1 in. spacers and have them ready.
-
You will. Probably 3/4 inch. I had JDM wagon springs (not pinks) and I needed an inch spacer. Tried pinks, still needed an inch spacer.
So 1 in. spacer is level or a slight rake?
-
Thanks for the info, I have the same struts and springs from a JDM GT Wagon. When I start the install I'll find out if I will need saggy but spacers or not.
-
I just started a build thread, but here's my 2008 Outback XT on JDM LGT Bilsteins +1" Spacer:
Are those JDM wagon springs ?

Octoberish I think is when the new formula went into place. The multi-vehicle formula has been impossible to find so far, that is supposed to be the old formula replacement. I just went ahead and switch to Motul 8100, easy to find on ebay.

Will have to check car log for mileage, bit i am still clunking. Mostly happens with an empty/ lightly loaded hatch and bumpy roads. Even tightened the top nut in all 4 corners, no luck
Other than that i am happy with the setup. The height is perfect for me, stock springs were the way to go
Sweet, this is My next move as My stock OBXT struts are on the way out at 88k miles.

I saw a blue LGT that did not have stock sounding exhaust in Harrison a week or so ago.
-
So anybody that is still on stock legacy suspension have any " it's been XXX mi. and here's how it's going" updates?
-
By far the best mod to date, actually the only mod I have done.
-
Hah ! found it ,it's way left of the clutch not above the gas pedal.
-
Where is the drl module? I removed the panel under the steering column and didn't see anything that looked like it.
-
I wish I hadn't just bought an OBXT 5MT. This would be a great opportunity to get a motor made custom installed in a good car.
-
Cool. I hope to go this route as soon as I collect up a DP and the Tactrix.

Cryotune Calibrated 05 Legacy gt wagon carzperformance - 250hp and 282tq
These 5speed turbo wagons are becoming harder and harder to find. This one is packing simple stage 2 parts custom protune via a COBB Tuning accessport.
Dave
By "simple stage 2 parts" exactly what are they? Just a downpipe?
-
It's the tactrix cable cost that's slowing Me down right now. Too bad You don't have a cable rental deal.
-
I want an e-tune so bad it's killing Me!

I'm collecting up the parts for this swap , what are You Guys using for struts? The KYB's are supposed to be stiffer which I'm trying to avoid. Gabriel? Monroe? stock Subaru?

You need the Legacy Rear Upper control arms and Whiteline camber bushings or Megan racing Rear upper control arms.
