  1. Good point. Nonetheless, you can't discount the eye candy factor.
  2. I can see it now. We will be getting a warning from Ted for not staying on topic.
  3. You can just PM it to us. You can trust us not to spread it around...
  4. Ouch, I don't like using epoxy on my car... The eyelines that extends to the headlight bolts and can be bolted down are probably better.

  6. Do we need a separate GH/video game thread? Never got into GH myself, playing Ace Combat 6 right now.
  7. Nothing beats mom's home cooking. I will have to try these places that you mentioned. IIRC El Parral calls what you described Steak Mexicana. I don't think their version has sliced potatoes though. I think they have a version that comes with quacamole and the other that comes with green chile. Their carne esata is pretty good too. Put me down for Sunday too.
  8. Never been to El Meson, don't think I ever heard of it either. Do you know what street it's on? I do like El Parral's steaks a lot, never really tried anything else on their menu so I can't speak to them.
  9. Here is where the bank is at. 11 is fine with me. 10. There is a 1stBank right down the street from El Parral. Their parking let should be pretty empty on Sunday. The bank is on Wilcox.
  11. Yup, El Parral. Their Mexico style steak is awesome. They are actually a chain, I think there are 3-4 of them in the metro area.
  12. Are you talking about the stone church place? We been there once and food is pretty good but it's kindda of a fancy place...
  13. Well, there is that BBQ trailer right off I-25 but it's really a take out place. There is only a couple of tables. There is a new wing place, it's also off I-25 on Founders. It's in the same shopping center as the movie theater. I haven't been in there yet but I have been wanting to try it. There are lots of parking and it's pretty easy to get it so it might be worth a try.
  14. Hey guys, I just remember that Wild Ginger is closed on Sunday's. We are going have to find a different place to do lunch on Sunday.
  15. I think I can do Sunday lunch. BTW, I just did a yellow page search for Wild Ginger and there is actually another one in COS.
  16. Oh, Wild Ginger. That's actually in Littleton not Castle Rock.
  17. Is tomorrow's install meet a go or no go?
  18. I'm in. I just got the Megan OB coilovers to put on. I can do that in my garage so don't worry about it if you can't make it work. Thanks Ted.
  19. That's part of the issue. With the stock setup mufflers and y-pipe could flex around the donut gasket without transferring the force upstream. Without the donut gasket the flexing allowed by the rubber hangers will transmit all the way up the down pipe and turbo housing.
  20. Megan's CBE has a flex mid-pipe so it helps with that too. Anytime you take away a structure's ability to flex you are introducing stress to another part of that structure. Is it possible that this could cause the turbo housing to crack? Yes, it's possible. Is it likely? Probably not. I think it's far more likely that you will get a leak before it will cause any damage.
  21. I'm out too, gotta meet Boulderguy to pickup the Megan OB coilovers. Let's reschedule for another weekend. Ted, do you still have the stock top hats from your classified post? I'm looking for a set for the Megan coilovers.
  22. I got the Megan CBE with the DP for that reason. The flange on the stock mid-pipe just doesn't look like it has enough surface area to seal properly to me. There is actually an adapter you can buy. I found a thread about it on the FXT website. They have the same problem that we do. But the little thing was almost $100 so I didn't think that would be money well spend. Anyway, if you really that worry about it just jack the car up spray some soapy water on the flange and turn the car on. Wiggle the the whole exhaust system with your hand and see if there are bubbles.
  23. It might be DP hitting the firewall or the transmission mount. When I first installed my Megan DP it would make this burrrr-burrr-burrr noise when I left off the gas. I thought it was an exhaust leak but it was actually hitting the transmission mount. Eventually I got it situated so it's only doing that once in a while when I have the car in reverse. The whole turbo back exhaust has a lot of flexibility, you would be surprised by how much it could move.
