  1. I asked the guys to compare that one and another BL5 bumper and they said there were some differences between the two . What would the difference be between the two ?
  2. I just want to make sure but BP9 is the facelift model right? I bought this https://www.jspecauto.com/engine_details/3894/subaru-legacy-gt-bp9-front-bumper-cover-with-grill-and-fog-lights-2005-2009 but realized it said BP9 and promptly cancelled . But in the pictures, compared with a BP5 bumper it looks basically the same . Theres alos a good deal on a BP5 legacy bumper with a lip on there. https://www.jspecauto.com/engine_details/3876/jdm-subaru-legacy-bp5-front-bumper-with-front-lip-and-fog-lights
  3. From the picture , im gonna say 5mm . 10mm the max but more than likely 5mm. I took a peep of their website and they made a 6 piston cts-v bracket for the nissans, maybe they might make it for ours as well.
  4. The problem is someone has to be willing to mount them and measure. So far we only have one legacy bro with the mounted. I might throw my car on the lift at the shop latter and measure my brembo setup for reference.
  5. Its funny how he accuse us of personal attacks whilst he calls us , in his words , . You should be given read only privileges because the amount of " help" you have ever provided on any thread is out weighed by the fact that you're a argumentative nuisance. This isn't Nasioc. The legacy forums has hundreds of qualified members who are engineers or have years of real world experience and are willing to hash out problems or questions. Whats the point of joining a forum when you cant be civil .
  6. The calipers are identical in weight to the brembos as per the AC Delco spec sheet which is 8.06 pounds. Just add in the weight of the rotors you want to use and the bracket. The braket idk like a pound or less?
  7. This thread was started to tell people that there is a cheaper alternative to the sti brembos. A person looking at brembos in the first place should have taken the price and everything else into consideration. This in no way is a stock replacement .
  8. I believe the the ATS brembo has a slimmer profile then the sti one but inturn is longer and higher.
  9. I think the spokes would hit. I run those wrx rims with a 5mm spacer on my brembos . Waiting on the ensuing argument on cost vs bling vs preference vs performance
  10. Sorry , i wasnt clear. There is an option for ver A-C.
  11. There should not be a difference between yours and the jdm one. You are a closer match to the jdm one then the USDM one. If the damd kit is ver A-C youll be fine.
  12. Those are the ones im looking at. Im thinking the first because its in better condition and the sti lip.
  13. The guy dosnt want to ship or otherwise it would have been perfect. I was thinking of getting a front clip from Canada and then ordering the skirt from japan already painted.
  14. Anyone running a 3.0 bumper with a skirt? Leaning hard towards that as my replacement.
  15. I dont think they are the same. This is the regular ATS caliper not ATS V which has a six piston. Someone tried to do a ATS to CTS V swap but it literally requires too much . I think they said they need new spindles, hubs , brake lines, and everything else you need for a brake setup. Plus the CTSv brembos require a 19in rim.
  16. Yea i agree. If the 18's clear sti brembos , then they can clear this. The only problem with 17's is that the ATS brembos are too long and not modular like the sti brembos.
  17. Check out the Naisoc thread. It seems alot of them are finishing up there install.
  18. Regular brembos cant clear those without help. I suspect the sti bbs could not clear because originally they just about cleared the sti brembos but these being a bit bigger would hit. You could go the way latent suggested and sand them down after which you repaint. They are pretty cheap and Amazons return policy is excellent.
  19. Damd, where were these when i upgraded to sti brembos. But I need some 6 piston monoblock love in my life. But these are a good alternative . Below is the parts list for the install.
