  1. I'm going to make my own via the nasioc thread this october.
  2. Im having this issue pop up again recently. My gut is relling me its there might be a spring that is loose in the drive by wire mechanism. I saw the stutter/stumble whatever on pump with dw850s and now again with e85 and id1300s. Both times my tuner said it wasnt the tune. For me there is always something a little off when I am barely on the gas which is essentially my foot position during cruising when the tach is 2000-2500. Ive also become accomstomed to feeling the different vibration frequencys the engine makes when its running lean vs rich. Lean feels more vibrations/insta torque and less when running rich. Wondering if at light throttle in that rev range the car running to rich. Logs show nonirregularities according to the shop though.
  3. Whoa. Your interior is awesome. Was that radio and trim a canadian option. Sorry no help on your issue.
  4. It Aint a band aid. I had one installed and it was too race car for me. it's also I think the only solution if you drive an outback.
  5. Skip the sti coupler. Just get a steering dampener. Does the same thing, 10 minute install.
  6. My 6758 is awesome as a daily. If you know a guy who likes to weld, or even contact tigwerks (quoted me a 1k shipped with heat coating), its a great route if you haven't yet gone stage 2. Its like a vf52 down low and dom 1.5 up top. If not, the bcp x500 looks like the new hotness.
  7. I got one degree below ambient today with just my intake in the wheel well. I love what you did but.... maybe excessive? Excellent execution though. Edit: I just read through the thread and though the pictures don't work, clearly Excessive is the theme. I did notice though that with cold air intakes you may need to create an exit path for the high pressure air if you are hellbent on achieving the coldest intake temps possible. That way you constantly have access to air that has spent as little time in the low pressure area as possible. (I'm not an engineer). I tried a one way sealed box like yours and temps actually went higher then just filter in the fender well.
  8. It means you're getting what the pony ate after he's done with it.
  9. There's video on you tube of a guy who thinks he change out our clutch in 2 hours. Maybe...But your list already gave me sore arms.
  10. Keep your stock header. Sell that thing and get equal length. Your car will last longer and you'll have more torks for the 52.
  11. I just did this. I like it. The car feels lots more solid. Also did a steering dampener which might be 50% of what I am feeling.
  12. Swapping in a 2010 and doing a low mount build would be amazing!
  13. The idea is that this list is supposedly motivation for cobb to bring it market. Frankly delicious seems to have been more responsive then cobb and more user facing. It kind of makes me not want to give cobb my business if there is another choice. My guess is though that cobbs product could potentially be better and offer more features.
  14. Those look like first gen forester wheels. Your pictures are awesome. Almost make me want to go back to stock height.
  15. Lifted outbacks are 90% about having a battle wagon. 10% about building what you got.
  16. I beleive thats what they call a "proper" outback.
  17. If they are essentially the same result in steering I'll do the lockdown. I did find a used sti joint for $80 though. I think Torque Solutions makes an identical one to perrin and I found one for $50.
  18. Just picked up one of these 2015 racks on ebay for a pretty good price. So next question, sti u-joint vs torque solutions lockdown damper? I think because I have an outback I have I have to use my stock u-joint correct?
  19. Lip looks good on the legacy. Keep going back and forth whether to do it to the outback. Is that the mach V wing or K2 gear?
  20. I would take them at $88.00. Since I don't smoke or vape, I don't need them. I just think they look cool.
  21. Does someone want to write up a how-to for the lazy/stupid like myself?
