  1. That's exactly what I asked when the dudes at Andrewtech said they had one in stock. Not sure how many they made or if they even did a full production run but they happened to have a single catless one laying around.
  2. Got my turboxs downpipe installed. I'm just contemplating whether I should contact nameless now or wait for some sort of collective effort by everyone to sort this out. I don't really think contacting them right now would do any good I'm sure they'll tell me the same thing they've told everyone else.
  3. Ordered an AVO DP, Gonna try to use the nameless intermediate pipe with it hoping everything fits. My exhaust is about to be a Frankenstein monster of parts.
  4. I recall him actually mentioning exactly that, I had a feeling he was talking about you. I really hope that these last few months of running 20+ psi hasn't done some kind of damage to the turbo or internals. Definitely gonna get another down pipe and try to keep tuning. Deciding between the AVO, Invidia catted, Invidia catless, and turboXS catless.
  5. We didn't physically check the flapper but Mike said even with the wastegate duty turned almost all the way down it was still boosting to about 20. So something with the DP is causing the wastegate to choke up and not fully open. I can't remember if you were the one who used to have the AVO DP, I've been thinking about picking one up. If that was you did you have bad boost creep with the AVO? Also correct me if I'm wrong but I assume the ass end of the AVO pipe uses the same flange as the second section of the nameless DP so they should mate up with no issues right? Also Running the Invidia N1 Catback
  6. So I saw Mike yesterday, can't thank him enough for taking time out of his Saturday to help me out. He checked everything, ebcs was hooked up right and no boost leaks. Did a few pulls Mike tried a few tricks but no matter what he tried the car was still over boosting and kept pulling timing. We finally came to the conclusion that there is indeed some mechanical issue with the downpipe. I've already sunk so much time and money trying to get this thing working properly, and I think I'm ready to get an invidia catless or something and call it a day. I'll definitely be contacting nameless but I'm sure they'll give me the same run-around they gave everyone else. It's really a shame that they're going about this the way they are. I'm not expecting them to compensate anyone fully but even something like a partial refund would help soften the blow.
  7. Fingers crossed that they might be able to give me and hopefully everyone some more insight as to exactly what causes this and how to fix it. The more I think about it, the more I feel like the boost creep has been a problem from the start and the dude that did the first tune back in November just band-aided it as much as he could. I don't wanna beat a dead horse but I really think we need to get nameless involved soon. The biggest reason I think most of us got this DP was because they said "grants better spool, a more consistent boost curve, and no boost creep." Now I'm sure they didn't intend for this to happen, but at this point that statement is pretty blatant false advertising. What bugs me the most is the fact that they refuse to even acknowledge this as a widespread issue. Sorry for the rant everyone this has just been on my mind for a while.
  8. Small update on my end. I contacted TA for an e-tune cause recently I've felt like the car hasn't been pulling the way it should. After sending my first log to Mike, he said that its boosting too late and too high and that I should check for boost leaks and make sure the EBCS is hooked up correctly. I just had the car checked for leaks when I got my brakes done about a week ago so I dont think thats the issue. Conveniently though I'm taking a trip to CT this weekend so I asked him if I could bring the car by for him to take a look at and he agreed. Hopefully they can fix my issue and shed a little light on this whole fiasco. I'll be back with more info after Saturday.
  9. So just to recap, Sarang, Driezhen, and I are the only ones who are currently running the DP successfully right?
  10. I've talked to a few shops about porting the wastegate on mine, none of them were willing to do it. Except for one place called Tim's Turbos but I'd have to remove it and bring it in which I don't really feel comfortable doing. Anybody happen to know any shops around the DC area that would remove, port, and reinstall? I've talked to Moore Automotive(the guys who did my tune) Andrewtech, Mach V, and IAG none of them were willing to do it
  11. Looks like jack hit the nail on the head, I hit it in 4th and got up to 19.7 its 75 degrees outside. Definitely confirmed my theory that the faster I get into boost the more it creeps
  12. Usually I do 3rd gear pulls when I'm trying to monitor. I think its creeps more when I get into boost quickly as oppose to rolling into it. I'll try 4th gear on the way home.
  13. Didn't get a chance to pull a log for you guys last night. I did monitor target and actual boost this morning on my drive to work. Target is set to 18.5 psi and I was actually underboosting a bit, it was 50 degrees outside and I think the highest I saw was about 16.9 that wasn't a nice long pull but I remember when it was first tuned it could easily hit 20+ by about 5k. I'll keep watching it on my way home and try to see if I can get it to overboost again.
  14. I don't think theres a way to monitor both boost target and actual boost pressure simultaneously with the V2(correct me if I'm wrong). If that is the case I'll pull some logs this afternoon and upload them here for scientific research. IIRC tuner said target was 18 psi, but I've seen it creep up to 22 when it was really cold outside. Now that its Spring and really hot maybe it will be different
  15. Which parameter would display what max boost is supposed to be at on the Accessport? Would it be boost target?
  16. Nameless DP+Invidia N1 Catback, 3-port Grimmspeed EBCS, stock non-ported turbo, sea level
  17. I haven't kept an eye on my boost recently, but it was overboosting slightly maybe by like 1 or 2 psi. I'll keep an eye on it next time I'm driving.
  18. Should most definitely be able to make the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs with that new turbo.
  19. Dreizehn does too and he didn't mention any issues either. Would it be safe to say if you run this DP with a 3 inch catback and with no aftermarket boost controller... you're gonna have a bad time?
  20. I remember I was talking to my tuner back when I got tuned and I asked what he thought might be causing the boost creep. He said he also thinks its because the exhaust is too free. Looking at pictures on the nameless Y-pipe compared to the invidia-Y pipe, I noticed that on the point where it splits, the nameless exits are actually split into two separate pipes as oppose to the invidia which looks like one pipe branching out there is a much larger area for the exhaust to flow before it splits. Has anyone with the full nameless TBE had the boost creep problem?
  21. Whitelines crossmember bushings otherwise known as the positive shift kit, are easily one of the best things I've done to the car yet. Makes the shifter feel a lot more solid and consistent
  22. Did you reset your ecu or reflash your map after you got the boost leak fixed?
