  1. Yes, you should be able to, but keep in mind most USDM 3rd gen Legacy came with 16" wheels which will not clear these (and most) fixed calipers. If you want to keep your wheels, your only common OE option is to go with the 06/07 FHI 4pots and use a wheel spacer.
  2. Value proposition is kind of out of the window if you need new wheels as it seems like no stock LGT wheel will clear STi calipers. The ATS calipers look around the same size, if not larger. I don't think I can swing it -- I'd need to get two new sets of wheels to make it work.
  3. Worthwhile upgrade. If a group buy is in order for these brackets, I'll be all over this.
  4. Pad change and ease of bleeding (in a motorsport context) is the main reason to go to a fixed caliper. Clip at the top comes out, slide out the two pins that hold in the pad, slip the two pads out, slip new pads in, replace pins and clips. Takes a minute or two. Bleed screw located at the front instead of the back of the caliper allows for fast, on-ground bleeding in case you boil your fluid.
  5. Going to a fixed caliper did wonders for brake feel on my WRX. I imagine it would be the same on the LGT. Much more communicative pedal. I would do it in a heartbeat if I could use LGT-sized rotors.
  6. Just did axles with Raxles over the weekend. It was a million times easier for me to unbolt the ball joint from the LCA than it was to try to pop the ball joint out of the hub.
  7. Your setup looks like it's on or close to the clearance limit. Do you rub at all?
  8. My WRX burns 30wt like gasoline. Rotella T6 has been friendly to every vehicle I've owned, and it's convenient to stock just one oil for two turbo cars, a motorcycle, and a diesel truck. It's not expensive either.
  9. What suspension and alignment are you running? That looks incredible.
  10. Used Raxles for my WRX, two of them. Pricier than the parts-store specials, but not nearly as pricey as new OE. Been a few years now with no issues. I'd buy again.
