  1. Just remember, My wife saying there is a yellow/orange light on the dash on the Subi. I'm expecting low tire PSI or maintenance light. I got so caught up troubleshooting the SRS system on the MB for weeks now and forgot all about it . I have to do it today when she get home tonight because we are expecting snow.
  2. Spend so many hours troubleshooting and scanning the SRS system. I even had my friend over at the dealership scan the vehicle with the dealer scan software and was kind of expected that I need a new SRS unit for the MB. I know this will be an expensive part but waiting to see my friend employee discount will be on the unit.
  3. Nothing to the Legacy except for wiper blades and oil change. It needs to go into the body shop with the new OEM rocker panel. I need to schedule that with my body man. Been occupied with my other vehicle on the SRS light. I have narrowed it down to the SRS N2/7 unit that is not communicating (can-bus). I already put in a new fuse (total of 4, found one that I could not get power from my test light) but need to see if I can clear the codes using the shop Snap-On. If it does not clear the code. I'm pulling the SRS unit out of the vehicle. That mean the whole center console needs to come out including the HU, Air/heat unit, rear blower fan, etc.
  4. 2013 close to 100k no CVT fluid change but planing to change it out this Spring. I'm kind of skeptical on doing it since I never did a CVT before. I do have a exchanger/flush machine at the shop. I did replace the front diff and rear diff fluid around 71k.
  5. Congrats and welcome to the family club Other news - I need to get in touch with my body man to get the Subi in for rear bumper and passenger side rocker panel repair. My friend told be that there are rumors that Subaru is bringing back the Legacy GT but not sure if it will come in Manual?
  6. I see the Main and overflow tank. I had to look at the picture again but did see you added a vent line. that's good you don't want the gas to flow back into the house. Your adding manhole access to the tanks above ground?
  7. I run Akebono in all my vehicle’s for many years. For the same reason brake dust.
  8. Oil change, Checked the fluid and LCA’s bushing and install OEM side corner cargo nets.
  9. ^Sump tank? Got the shop reserved for tomorrow to install the cago net and check the LCA bushing. First I need my Amish Breakfest.
  10. I'm looking for a good descent steamer that is electric power (that I don't need to boil the water) that not expensive only be using it one time only any recommendation? I need to remove the back windshield 12 year old 3M tint without ripping out the rear defrost heating element grids (I need to repair 6 breaks).
  11. I got an email from Amazon stating "Sorry, your package was lost in transit". I forgot all about it and I'm surprise my wife did not say anything. It was the OEM cargo net for the Legacy. Suppose to be deliver November 4. I may just cancel the order and re-order it somewhere else.
  12. I been doing that allot even if the battery is not disconnected
  13. I bought one of those Lollipop baby monitors. I set it up last night. This morning I got a notification at 5:25am that it was to noisy 80db (detect noise, motions, etc) on my smart phone. I viewed the live camera at work using my smart phone (Iphone). I see my wife on the screen, so I played Mozart thru the Camera speaker/Mic (It has this options). My wife jumped and got scared and I'm busting out laughing then I calm her down by talking thru the camera.
  14. OMG it was challenge yesterday. I was having allot of issue to get my son and his car seat in and out of the Benz (CLK W209) and I was driving like a I was 5'2" tall (I'm 5'10"). I forgot that if you take the key out of the ignition the seat slide all the way back and did caused the car seat to come off the car seat base. This morning I moved the base to the passenger side. This will give me some relief but I'm only using the Benz to pick up my son from daycare (Parents house) in the afternoon that is about 3 miles away.
  15. Thanks, Having a 3 month old son. I don't have the time like I used to.
  16. My Legacy has 97k miles. They found it during a free multiple point inspection. I did not hear any clunking up front. I'm going to get it on the lift and inspect it myself. Also need fuel injection cleaner for condensate on the TB is new to me also. The only way for a TB to condensate if weather changes
  17. I can do the repair but the problem is I don't have time anymore.
  18. Took it for the Airbag Recall for my 2013 Legacy. Now Subaru is saying I need the following repair: 1. Lower control arms due to split bushing and wheel alignment ($1,000) 2. Fuel injection cleaning due to condensate found on throttle body ($160) 3. Power Steering flush due to discolor ($180) I will get it on my friend lift this week or next week and inspect it myself. I know lower control arms is $100 each for OEM I already priced them. To me I think it's to early to replace the lower control arms.
  19. Cleaned up all the junk inside. Taking the car to Subaru tomorrow for the Airbag recall finally. Still need to get the stroller out of the trunk and bassinet. I'm going to talk to them about the remote starter because I was unhappy what they quoted me over the phone couple of month back.
  20. There is a fill and check plug on the transmission on the passenger side above the axle. I took a picture of it while back but if needed I can find it and post it.
  21. Order is placed for a set of OEM trunk cargo net F551SAJ301.
  22. Put air in all (4) it was all at 22lbs. Had to fill the tank since my wife drove the Legacy to the reserved fuel (fuel light was on). So funny the other car had to put air in all (4) that was sitting at 25lbs suppose to be (front 30lbs/Rear 35lbs).
  23. When I did my Acura Integra 5 lug conversion it came with ball bearing bushing since It came off from Ben Schaeffer SCAA ITR. My god every bump on the road you can hear it clunk and allot of road noise but other then that I have almost the perfect race suspension that this thing will hug threw the turn and bends with the correct tires. i still need to swap out my Eibach Sportline and Toxico Illumina for complete set of coilovers thinking Tein Flex with FDC box or might say F it and go with Mugen. I also need to beef up my 23mm rear sway bar with a swaybar brace.
  24. Soon I need to start prepping the Legacy for the winter month. (detail exterior/interior; oil change, airbag recall (already scheduled), Check and or change out the CVT oil, and wiper blades). MB is almost ready to be stored for the winter still need to do trans fluid and detail the car and pull the car cover out from storage and have it on stand by in the trunk once I see any sign of snow in the forecast. The car cover goes on.
  25. I have SSR (Speed Star Racing) Type C in Championship white, 17x7.5 weigh in 11 pounds. On city street they bend to easy. I only use them when I'm on the track.
