  1. Bead sealer did not solve the air leak. I bought a inflatable kiddie pool from Amazon. This time I'm dunking the wheel.
  2. I got a recall notice for the air bags from Subaru. Now I need to make time to bring the Legacy in and while it's there I will get them to inspect the CVT trans fluid and maybe change it.
  3. Not sure if I posted or not. In my 40's, male. Married over 8 years with a future son due in August (1st child). I'm a Electrical-Mechanical Engineer by trade. Surveyor full time for the Gov. I also own my own Engineering company that I do on the side. 2013 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Prem (First Subaru) Window Tint OEM Fog lights HID Kit LED Interior/Exterior Akabono brake pads Conti DWS tires 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK500 (AMG package w/weather package) K&N dual filters Behr Radiator Carbon Fiber front lip OEM CLK55 AMG front rotors Akabono brake pads AMG wheels 18x8 (front) and 18x9.5 (rear) 235-40-18 (front) and 265-35-18 (rear) Blienstein Shocks Window Tint HID Kit 1999 Acura Integra GS (track/show) To much to list. EDIT: - Son was born on Aug. 21, 2018 @ 3:10am. - I have a different set of OEM AMG 17" stagger wheels on the Benz. - My father turned over his 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with the 4.7 V8 over to me (I got to many vehicles).
  4. Friend just picked up a Hunter Hawkeye Elite wheel alignment machine with a full rack with a swing air jacks. I got a little demo and training on it. I realize this is more user friendly then his old wheel alignment machine.
  5. Had a chance to get the Legacy on the lift. Been inspecting the wheel very closely and notice some section of micro-bubbles on the inner and outer side of the tire beads. I added some bead sealer. I'm crossing my finger that will resolve the issue. I wish my friend had a tub where I can dunk the whole rim but oh well I can always buy a plastic kiddie pool soon. My other friend shop outsource all tires related, balance and wheel alignment next door because he does not have the equipment's. They are the only one that touches the Subaru wheels.
  6. My wife got a goody bag from buybuybaby. I said to my wife. Why you get a goody bag where is mine. My wife pulled out a poopie wipe from the bag and gave it to me. She is so wrong, haha.
  7. This week planning to inspect the old wheel very closely for any porosity and have it repair maybe spray it with layers of clear coat. Then install the original TPMS and re-mount the tire and balance. Then crossing fingers it will solve the issue. I can do the same for the new wheel that is already mounted on the Legacy Still need to do a coolant circulating water pump and inspect a tire for a nail on the other vehicle.
  8. I heard from the Honda guys there having problems with there Mishimoto radiators. Just bad craftsmanship can't remember if it was the welds or the fins. Not sure about Koyo but do some research first. I'm running a full core Fluidyne in my Acura since 2004 to this day. I emailed Subaru to see what there going to do with the wheel to see if they can warranty it or pay for the repair. I bought back in November. I'm thinking the wheel has porous spot because there is nothing to replace because I replaced everything with brand new OEM parts and still leak 4-6lbs in 1 week. I'm thinking my old wheel did the same thing. I may just slap a weld on those spots on my old wheel and see what happen.
  9. I missed my (2) Neapolitan Mastiffs . Thanks for posting the picture.
  10. Thanks. I will look into the wheel itself if there is any pin hole.
  11. New valve stem and it's screwed all the way in. It's not the road because every week I'm putting 3-4lbs of air only in that (1) wheel. I even swap it to the other side and still leak. The other (3) is holding air. it does not matter if the temperature change and or road condition. I be pist if it's the coating of the alloy wheel that's causing it to leak.
  12. My Legacy is driving me insane. Tracing an air leak in one of the wheel for years. Did the following 1. Replace all (4) tires 2. Replace the wheel with a brand new OEM 17" alloy from Subaru. 3. Replace TPMS sensor and valve stem (thinking of bad o-ring) 4. Reseal the beads. 5. Can't find any leak from spraying it with soapy water. That same wheel (new or old) is still leaking air loosing 3-4lbs in a week. At this point I don't know what to do except dunk the whole wheel in a bath tub and leave it to see if there any bubbles. If I'm going this rout I have to do it while my wife is not home. She would kill me.
  13. Saw my baby kicked on the ultrasound in mommy stomach. Thought it was to early but my wife think it’s going to be one hyper child. I said it’s all the coffee you been drinking. In other news my kitchen Is now demo and I’m now furlough from the government. I been off now for almost 2 weeks now. Oh well it happen.
  14. That what I have mounted on my Legacy. This winter will be the first with these tires. I had order Firestone Winterforce (Studdable/Snow) for my wife old Civic that was in Wisconsin for the winter. She told me it kept her safe during the snow days up there. I brought her car down to the Washington D.C. area in 2003 we had about 28.2" in Baltimore and 16.7" in D.C of snow that year. My wife civic was the only car on that road that never got stuck or even slide. I ran Yokohama Advan Sport, BF Goodrich G-force sport and Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my V8/RWD and they suck for the winter due to the torque and power of the V8.
  15. I received the letter from Subaru for an extended warranty on the CVT trans for another year or until it reaches 100,000 miles.
  16. UPDATE: 2013 2.5L Prem now have 76k no issue but already replace the front and rear diff fluid once. Planning to take it to Subaru once I get close to 90k and have them inspect the CVT fluid and see if they can change it for me.
  17. Previous owned a ZX-7R. I'm Shopping for my next bike. Can't decide between the 2017 MV Agusta F3 675rc or 2016 Honda CBR600rr (white/black). These are the (2) bikes that I narrowed it down to. The MV is a much lighter bike then the Honda but cost allot more.
  18. Stop being lazy and take the stupid BS HQL
  19. My wife want a gun now. I be sighing her up for that stupid MD HQL that I think it's BS. I'm thinking to get her a Beretta 96A1 or 92FS. Depends on witch one she feel more comfortable with. I be in the market this spring/summer for a Glock 17 or 19 and I have not made up my mind between the two. I still need to get a gun safe. I'm trying to find a legal way to bring in a Russian AK47 into my state. If that means I have to apply for a collector license. I will do it.
  20. You can purchase R32 very soon R33. Virginia imports them all the time. Paperwork is done and the car is already register in the state of Virginia. I'm waiting for the R34 to be release or I may have to get a Fairlady 240Z or 260Z this is what my wife want. If I do get the Fairlady it's getting a R34 Nismo engine swap. I'm also waiting for the FT-1 Supra to be release. That all have to wait till I sell my home and purchase another home first. Here is there website. https://www.japaneseclassics.com/
  21. Update My 2013 2.5i Prem with 70k miles. Just did front and rear diff fluid for the first time. The rear diff fluid was pitch black the front diff fluid was still somewhat clear. The CVT trans is holding up. The power seems better. Still debating to change the CVT trans fluid at 100k miles. I don't believe any fluid is to be lifetime. My oil consumption got allot better since I swapped out Subaru brand oil to Ardeca brand. Since that the yellow oil light never came back on between oil changes.
  22. Hard for me to believe that the fluid don't need to be change. I'm still new to the whole AWD/CVT thing. Thanks
  23. What about old fluid turning into sludge inside the gearing?
