Haha, definitely! I spoke with insurance and they have a glass replacement program, so it should be all covered with no change to future costs.

Had a close call today, I've been avoiding the highways by me because of the truck traffic which has been insane lately. Well today I used the highway to work... bad mistake. A bolt came flying over the median from a pack of transports and smashed the shit out of my windshield! It did a double impact (van damme style) and luckily the first hit was the head of the bolt and it hit the dash, it spun and hit the open glass above me and fired shards at me and all over the car. I reported it to the Provincial Police and they said I was lucky where it hit first because it would have probably hit me in the face otherwise. Anyways here's some photos of the carnage!

Well, for once I thought ahead... a month ago I ordered a wheel bearing from rock auto. Well I'm glad I did, 2 long trips in the last 2 weeks and ended up being a loud hum in my drivers front hub... 1.5 hours later the noise is gone. I may create my own parts warehouse of wear items in my garage! Also yes, it's all rusty... I live in ontario! (this car will never see winter in my possession though)

Not much work on the spec b today, other than uploading a new tune from Cryodave, but I fixed a seized rear caliper on my mom's 91 Mariner Blue Miata

To me I would say rad hose so I'm glad you're replacing it. I have seen older hoses swell over time and it's just the rubber giving up over time. Hopefully you have a safe drive home!

Pull the rear bench, the cables run through there from the mechanism. Is it all rotted by the pull levers? I've seen the cables break multiple times if you're near any rust belt.

It's a shop local to me, they do tons of stuff, I brought them the pieces and within 5 days they were done, I also did the interior grab handles. What's nice is they clear them after they have been dipped so it looks super natural Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

When I replaced the one in my 05 GT I bought a special set of sockets so I didn't have to remove anything around it, luckily it came out without that much force needed, just a 3/8 ratchet and some good muscle power

Stromung or Invidia Q300, it's pretty much impossible to find a stromung, if you do you'll have to pay up. It's worth it in my opinion, I have a Q300 and am quite happy on the Spec B, I have a magnaflow on my 05 gt and it's fairly quiet too

Well I finally got around to pulling the double din out of the 05 gt and into the spec b, loving the new look with the CF trim now. I'll have to redo the shifter trim to match to finish the look.

Had a fun day today, other than waking up early. My best friend bought a 2007 Spec B, so we brought it back to my place here. 2 other friends showed up with spec b's. Tysparks81 showed up at my place just after 8am to borrow my garage for the day so you can't see him in this picture. But... 4 Spec b's in my place at once, I wonder how many dealerships had that:lol:

So it looks like my best friend who I live with, has agreed to buy a 2007 spec B. There will now be 2 DGM spec b's in my driveway. On saturday when it's brought home, there will be 4 spec B's here! I also just found another white 09 spec b... the guy may sell this fall. Goddammit. Stupid addiction

I use any dino oil on my 05 lgt, 345,xxx kms and counting. It's all in how you treat the engine as well.

These guys are local to me, it's where I picked up my 2.0GT front end and all the parts. Great service from them always!
