I brought home the winter hooptie did a quick oil change on it, 345,xxx kms on it and she keeps going. After I spent the weekend doing a full JDM front end swap for a friend, it's a 2.0gt bumper with a really nice lip. The washer nozzle lights are ready for the 2nd pump with the hoses routed... Can anyone identify the lip??

fs - location: Brampton ON: VF52 and VF40
MaasaiWarrior replied to MaasaiWarrior's topic in Member Classifieds (2005 - 2009)
Bump, open to offers! -
Both turbos have zero shaft play, housings are a bit dirty but they are each in great shape. The VF40 is missing the bolt for the clamp, and I can't find it for some reason, but it's east to pull from your own. The VF52 does have the usual wastegate crack but it has never effected performance. VF40 $SOLD USD + shipping VF52 $SOLD First 2 pics are the VF40 and the second 2 are the VF52 Open to trades for a Sub-002 accessport

Overboosting big time spec.b
MaasaiWarrior replied to Jackk3's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Check to see if the boost lines to the controller got pinched, I had that happen to me once. I pulled on them and made sure they felt loose and all has been good since -
Interesting read there, even more on the wiki page. So many of us probably wouldn't be here if he thought/acted differently in that situation.

I'm not! -
All the honda talk, I also had one. 93 GS, B20Vtec swap, cammed, jdm transmission, tons of jdm interior and exterior parts, custom machined hubs for jdm integra type r brake setup including the master cylinder. The car still exists at a speed shop who bought it from me, not how I had it (it's had a bunch of awful body work) but they are doing a K series turbo setup on it.

Welcome! Hopefully you're feasting on Lobster and are enjoying the east coast summer weather! If you are looking at a BC car, one major positive, lack of rust, if you buy from anywhere else in Canada expect a ton of rust and even more hidden rust.

alternator whine w/ iPod connected via Y-cable
MaasaiWarrior replied to RustyShackleford's topic in Interior/Audio
My buddy has this issue for a while, he ended up getting a generic usb powered bluetooth unit that plugs into the aux. He hasn't had a noise issue or a problem with it yet! -

MaasaiWarrior replied to madrig's topic in Legacy Photos (2005-2009)
Yep, it was just in my garage with no room to back up. So I wanted to get closeups to show the finish and quality. I'll do it this weekend and show it on my DGM Spec B as well -

For all of you wanting to see a thing of beauty... Here is a Madrig masterpiece! I had to do a cut an polish just so my car wouldn't look like crap with how good this scoop looks. I know a bunch of you were wondering if he was going to make this piece and he did, the fitment is absolutely beautiful and even if he charged $1000 for this damn thing the quality and finish is worth it. One of my closest friends is already trying to buy it off of me! Anyways this would be the Cyber R CF Madrig Edition, get em while they're hot! Here's the beauty pics! -
Well I received this clock with a bezel I got from someone down south, it won't switch out of Fahrenheit so I swapped it with my Canadian clock and everything is back to normal. It's pretty much mint, all buttons work with no stickyness and screen isn't scratched up. Maybe someone needs it because their screen has died. $30 usd and I'll ship it anywhere in the CONUS SOLD

Use it once, but put it up on any market place for rental when you're done. You'll probably end up making money on it
