You can split the nuts with a nut splitter. Maybe buy an electric impact wrench? Good tool to have... Or, last thing - take it to an exhaust shop. $10 for new bolts, I bet.
That sounds cool. I used to tape those model rocket engines to GI JOE's and light them off. One time, (well, everytime) the rocket would go haywire, and once it landed on my friends back and gave him a melted GI JOE burn.
It was awesome.
Engineer? I thought so. I'm an engineering drop-out/failure. So I specifically designed this system with wing-itability cause I could never use the calipers to get repeatable results. Dammit.

No....but I did try. It's just too bad that the muffler is RIGHT AFTER the cat, and it's connected by some funky thick oval solid pipe. No way to cut it and flange it, or anything easy. Would just defeat the whole "cheap and simple" idea. For my truck I'd get an exhaust...
