Hmm, I guess I have other issues. I busted my clock spring when I put my DAMD wheel in, have since replaced that clock spring, but maybe the replacement is bunk too?

Electricity is the same as magic to me, but that was what I was thinking. But in my situation, I would pay someone who studied electricity at Hogwarts to figure out which magic resistor is needed to fool the sensors. I miss cruise control.

Do you have a plan of attack for the airbag light? Its been on my "to do" list for a while now but I have yet to do anything about it.

Probably won't fit. FWIW the shifter assemblies were all different between my LGT, WRX, and Forester. None of the short shifters were interchangeable. The ball socket and linkage connection width are different sizes.

Enjoy 23 minutes of traffic jams and point bys. Best viewed at double speed to avoid boredom. It was my last session, brakes were feeling soft so I wasn't pushing much. Next time I'll learn how to use a GoPro better so I don't just take videos of grid the first two sessions lol.

I'm thinking I might trim the bumper along that contour line and try my hand at bending up a diffuser for the rear. In my head its pretty lame to be the guy that does one novice track night and starts messing with aero, but also my bumper is mutated so why not?

So much fun at Blackhawk Farms yesterday. I was a little nervous, having never been on track before and also having done so much to the car. The only issue I had was a coolant drip and needed to tighten a clamp. Power was very manageable and all my relevant pressures and temps were rock solid all day.
Boiled the brakes and was weeping brake fluid from my bleeders, which is pretty common with Brembos from what I understand. My blue vinyl on the calipers turned black, and the finish is now stained from the brake fluid. Sucks, but the brakes worked well! Car is also very rich, and lit the rear bumper on fire a little bit. Not sure if I'll trim the bumper for a DIY diffuser, go JDM bumper, or another factory one.
I was a bit proud of my first session, was lapping Corvettes, a Viper, an ITR, a sea of Miatas, and just about everything else. But given that it was the first session of a novice group at a track night catered towards beginners thats not really saying much! Haha
Will definitely be doing more of these in the future.

Yeah, that's not really my vibe. I had thought about it, just to get out and see some people, but I had a birthday dinner for my dad in Whitewater.

Haha no, but there are a lot more high end performance shops and collections in town than people realize!

A very small sample of what's laying around. They subcontract their detailing work to me.

I wish I could justify Swain tech or jet hot ceramic coatings, but that just isn't in the cards right now. Anybody have experience with VHT paint or similar? I plan on reusing the PTP thermal turbo blanket and Cobb heat shield.
I did a VHT black ceramic paint on my turbine housing, held up for a year without chipping or cracking before I put a blanket on top. Probably still fine underneath. Whether it actually does any good at holding in temps, dunno!

Lowered the front a smidge. Gonna raise the back a bit tomorrow and adjust the brake booster rod tomorrow, a bit too much free play right now. Otherwise took it up and down the street and couple times and didnt die. A few clunks and rattles that I'm gonna double check, but could just be things settling.

You're gonna make me poor and happy.

Asked my dealer to order new rear strut mounts a couple times, and a set of rear rotors arrived yesterday. I just want to drive it!

I'm not sure what these are, but I already feel like I want them

I'm just saying what the man said.
