This 'ronavirus panic is a sonofabitch. All of these appointment cancellations and delays may give me the free time to work on my own car. That new shop development looks a lot less promising as well.

Gorgeous. I need to get mine cleaned up!
Me too! I havent polished it in a few years, it needs improvement. Too busy shining other people's toys to look after my own...

Car has just been sitting in my shop for a few months, with the STi center console still halfway installed and no further progress attempted on the DCCD controller setup. Been busy with work, went to SEMA, spent a week in Philly, holidays, drove down to North Carolina for New Years, just got back from a week in Tokyo for the auto salon and other shenanigans, now trying to make progress on building a new 20k sqft facility for my business and a couple tenants before heading down to Florida for Amelia Island. Lifes rough.

I have his hood scoop, spoiler, and door sills. The scoop and spoiler are in dark blue carbon fiber with a v-split down the vehicle center line, the sills are in a dual twill with white 'STI' logo on them. All arrived absolutely perfect. The quality, finish, and fit was all dead-on.
I want the new radiator shroud and will be having him make the carbon wide body for me once my bank account stops hemorrhaging.

i have a lighter version for you , that will make you shave some weight , since i know you like racing !
I'm game! I just need to find the money! Pebble Beach, then SEMA, and looking ahead at Tokyo Auto Salon in January. All this travel has my bank account mad at me.

My DCCDpro controller project snowballed. Although I bought it with everything I needed to make it work, I like things to be as OEM as possible. So I bought a 2011 STi center console (which *should* bolt in) to utilize the factory DCCD controls with the Spiider. So now the Spiider needs to be sent back and reprogramed for use with OEM controls. And I needed new boots for the shifter and ebrake, and right now I'm leaning towards a dark gray alcantara with yellow stitching? But, then I think I'll send my DAMD wheel in to get rewrapped as well. Partly so the stitching matches, and partly because the low quality leather its made with has already started wearing through in under 10k miles.

Had snow flurries at Road America throughout the weekend, so I decided to skip my day. Not a great way to spend a few hundred bucks, but better than winding up in a tire wall.

Looks amazing Nice job brother. Where would one be able to find that hatch spoiler online?
From our very own Madrig here on the forum!

Also, Road America track day in a week.

Trans is in! What a difference, its so much better than I had thought. It feels quite a bit quicker from the gearing, and everything is so much smoother. Really loving this ACT clutch too, engagement and modulation is miles better than the Comp Clutch, although part of that may be from switching to a pull-style clutch.
Today or tomorrow I'll wire up the DCCDpro controller and finish putting my interior together, but for now I'm just going to enjoy driving.

The silver mirrors are the correct ones for your car, the ones with the darker covers are facelift mirrors (07+)

I do plan to put an IAG Stage 2.5 shortblock, their "entry level" closed deck, before this one pops. I want to get the flex fuel kit and have my car tuned on E85, and at that power I have absolutely no faith in my tired old stock engine.

I think that's still the White Bullet. As far as I know Jr hasnt made it into the 7s yet, maybe not the 8s either, but definitely has a lot of low 9s.

Con.Harr91 Who did your Tune ?
JR Tuned at P&L in Chicago

You definitely have the wrong tires for your car, and from what it sounds like the wrong wheels too.

No joke! Its only going to get worse before it gets better. I've been hunkering down and preparing to trim the fat from my business.
I finally got a quote from the upholstery shop about my interior project. Will be about $1,000 to shape and rewrap my DAMD wheel, have shifter and ebrake boots made, and have my center console arm rest rewrapped. Everything with yellow stitching. Definitely not a good time to spend that money, but I still want to!
