  1. nice spec b! ur in chicago as well? we gotta link up some time!
  2. Liberal vents and handbrake. Probably my 3rd cf handbrake but this piece is separate so ima use this instead. Heres the side by side comparison between liberal and oem faux cf
  3. Thanks! Yea i cant wait until i get that hooked up. Ill have 3 screens on lol
  4. bump! i just provided a link to my ebay for the extra parts that im selling! all jdm stuff mostly for the 4th gen! the list in this post is therefore inaccurate thanks!
  5. Now that i got my car back, ive been itching to put these in. P2M grey and black checkered floor mats. These are for the gd impreza chassis but itll fit in the legacy, not perfectly but itll do. I always wanted checkered floor mats especially in red and black but the only company i found that can make em costs over $400.. these p2m were only $100 on ebay and theyre pretty quality mats. Im glad i got these becuz they match pretty well with the black carpet and the t/b sti checkered door sills. The sti floor mats i had before looked out of place and belongs in the forester for sure. What do u think? Also preserving the spec B red floor mats and putting them away.
  6. Got the car back today and holy grail what a difference! Still getting used to the new x clutch but apparently its rated like a exedy stage 1 clutch for over 400hp, which is overkill for my needs which also means reliable afff cuz ill never reach 400. The engagement or bite of the clutch is direct and immediate. Its a heavier clutch than im used to but itll loosen up overtime. My shifter is nice, direct and firm again which is a plus. I can tell that the legacy will very much be like an oem+ build and its almost on par with my forester even tho its faster than the forester, im almost done with the build. Now i just gotta wait and break it in to really step on it.
  7. Finally got the sti seat phone stand for cheappp and the subaru manual shift knob that i got for a third or quarter of the market price right now. Cant wait to install it to see how it looks and feel
  8. Im getting an combined average 18-20 right now
  9. Hell yes i will definitely look into this when i have the funds thanks for this knowledge i had no idea about this route
  10. do explain. So ur saying it lets me stay 5x100 annnd lets me swap to spec b 6spd with my original 5spd parts?
  11. my clutch apparently was slipping so i was forced to face the unevitable which i knew was coming i just didnt know when (at 74k miles). Back at trusty 6* motorsports and they replaced the clutch with X clutch and new oem flywheel along with the rear main seal. This has been a restoration project for sure i also had them use the torque solutions pitch fork and pivot that i bought on black friday last year. I cant wait until i get the car back and drive it. But now that ive invested in a new clutch, i guess ill be sticking with the 5spd forever lol no more 6spd swap plans, but its okay hopefully i can get the new FL5 Type R in the future. Purple x clutch matches my purple grampus signals btw Update breakdown replaced: -XClutch sprung organic clutch kit subaru -oem flywheel -flywheel bolt -rear main seal ej -front driver axle seal -front passenger mt output shaft seal sti -liqui moly gl-5 75w-90 gear oil 1L -torque solutions pitch fork & pivot
  12. Cleaned the engine bay, stuck subaru owner badges, and installed one door of the black wood panel and liberal cf door handle. Will complete the rest later.
  13. Did a car wash and vacuum today. Swapped out some faux cf trim pieces. Still gotta do the door stuff but in goes the side vents, back seat light dome, and put in my extra set of front black sti floor mats. Swapped out the sti faux cf mirror cover for a better looking cf cover. Also conditioned front and rear leather seats.
  14. thanks man! and me neither, i didnt know much of these items existed until i got this car
  15. yeah i was gonna see if i can do that. take it apart and piece them together somehow
  16. Been on a hiatus cuz nothing really new is up with the legacy.... until now. Got the Blitzen booklet of sleeves for your insurance and registration cards. Liberal parts catalog, black wood door handle trims, liberal cf door handles, cf hand brake, and subaru faux cf side vents.
