  2. Not me. But when i was a kid i lived on that base. That looks like the BEQ. -amidroc
  3. My clutch pedal is very firm. I had the privilege of driving GTEASER's SWP. The clutch pedal is way easier to use on his 2012 compared to my 2010. It's almost as if the clutch was replaced before I bought it. I am still enjoying the mod.
  4. ^^+1 I didn't install mine. GTEASER did (many thanks) i can vouch for the folded up jeans trick and paper towels. Brake fluid can strip paint. It may be a good idead to keep a clean wet rag handy to wipe up any big spils.
  5. I have a 17 year old wanting to learn stick. Hopefully this will be easier to learn on. He tried on my 2.5i and had a hard time "feathering" the pedal.

  8. Ahem.... This mod has made the clutch engagement more alive. In the sense that I can feel the point when the clutch is actually engaging instead of floating. For some reason my clutch pedal is more firm compared to GTEASER's. It takes a heavier foot press to get the clutch pedal to go in. Since I am not the original owner I can only imagine the previous owner had the clutch replaced. I have not tried to drop the clutch or attempted any launches. Too scared. Besides I am still on the stock map and can't take advantage of full boost. It is still a kick in the pants from 1st to 2nd and the clutch works like I want it to. My clutch engagement feels like it is about 1/3 from the floor everytime. So it's consistent. However, I don't know if that gives any indication to the health of the clutch plate, disk or the push rod. I can feel the disengagement through the pedal and visualize it (if that even makes sense.) This is my daily driver so it just feels normal?! No mush....just push.(wait..whaaa that doesn't even rhyme although it looks like it should?!) Everything about this mod is a plus. Just make sure you have a good buddy and helper to to all the dirty work while you fiddle with the shift stop installation!!
  9. I have a Perrin single for sale. See this http:// http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234950
  10. I better order the part then Also did you find out about SS line? What brand of brake fluid? I have some unused Galfer DOT4 i bought for my motorcycle caliper/brake pad swap I could use. Will that work?
  11. this MOD might move up my list considering cost. COBB AP and Nameless ABE might have to wait!
  12. spoiler installed successfully http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4993426&postcount=14804
  13. ^^Exactly. I used a grey plastidip. A little lighter than the GGM. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like installed. If i dont like it...I'm only out 9 bucks.
  14. Apologies for ressurecting this thread. Here is my situation. After removing the lip from my 2012 2.5i it looks faded and beat up. Has anyone tried plastidip yet? Ive seen the painted ones. Im not going that route considering the abuse the lip gets. And the cost to paint. I figure plastidip is a cheap alternative to that. Thoughts?
  15. 1st - 2012 Legacy 2.5i Graphite Grey Metallic - 56,000 miles traded in for.. 2nd - 2010 Legacy GT Premium Graphite Grey Metallic - 41,000 miles Male 39 IT Network Engineer for non for profit Health Care in Northern California Only had the above two Subies. Only mod so far - OEM tweeter kit. All the aftermarket goodies from my 2012 are going to go into the 2010. On a side note, I'm quite surprised at how stock the car remained. From what i can tell the previous owners did not add any mods.

  17. Here are some pics I took today after I had the Legacy detailed.
  18. using a body clip is a possible solution. Like the OEM fog lights are held in place. or the plastic bumper clips
  19. How are the SS screws holding up? I recenly noticed one of the original screws in the wheel well are rusting. I have only been to the snow a few times this past winter?!?! Thanks for the specs. I will look for something similar at my local home depot.
