  1. You mean there are really no mounting point available for USDM unlike the JDM? http://borjaphoto.com/temp/cusco%20brake%20kit.jpg
  2. I'm sure it's not too difficult to make this brace kit.
  3. I've also talked with the car performance shop early today, but he said he didn't have any facility to accept international order now. So it will be difficult for him accept order outside of China. He seems not willing and seems contented with the way his business is doing in China. Anyway, I'm still looking for an online website in China which I remember do accept international orders but can't seem to find it now. However not sure if that shop sells the Cusco brace kit.
  4. That would be difficult to do without a proper instrument or tools to be able to measure the stroke of the pedal.
  5. I've been doing some searching but unfortunately can't seem to find a seller that sell outside of China. I will try to contact the car performance shop that I've ordered from my brace kit tomorrow. I want to know how good his English is, so I will know if he could communicate with you guys and is willing to ship outside of China.
  6. I ordered mine thru a car performance shop here in China. I think this brace kit is being manufactured now here in Southern part of China. Let me try to find an online shop that can understand English and hopefully can accept international order. I will get back to you later!
  7. I don't think this would fit. Btw, have you check if you have those holes for the brace kit?
  8. The Cusco part# for this brace kit is S687-561-B here. Not sure why it is not listed.
  9. I think they should. Cusco is a Japanese company so I'm pretty sure they sell this in Japan for RHD car.
  10. sschemelcke, here's some of the pictures I took. Based on the pictures you took, it seems USDM and JDM are the same to me. There are four bolting/install point for this brace kit to the side as shown below: Here's another angle: The distance from the side to middle of brake master cylinder is about 8.5-9cm More angles: It's about 10cm from the black circular (I don't know how it's called) to the end.
  11. You are right. China is LHD like US. So the master cylinder is on the same side. The install was easy. It took only about 15-20 minutes to install. No drilling of hole is required. I will take some pictures over the weekend so you could see.
  12. Actually a few months back I was ready to order KW V3 coils. But the shop I ordered it from don't want to give me product warranty. So I've decided to go with other brand. My first choice was actually Bilstein PSS10, but it was only available in Japan and no Japan online shop seems to carry this product. The shop here is recommending me to get either RSR, TEIN or HKS coils. Then I saw someone in a local forum selling a slightly used (5 months old) TEIN TYPE FLEX coils. The condition and price of the coils was really good so I decided to get this. Even though TEIN was not in my radar, the deal was too good to pass. Anyway I was thinking TEIN had a very good reputation, and if ever I will have a problem I can easily send it for repair because they have a repair facility here. That's why I really agree with Brainchild, don't get any no-name brand on major parts like the coilover.
  13. The best is to take pictures of it in the car. I will take some pictures over the weekend. We could also take some measurements if you're interested.
  14. Actually I have one installed made by Cusco. Got it for about USD70 two years ago. I can probably get a better picture of it in the car over the weekend. http://taitian168.cn.china.cn/op/ImageDetail/id/2115279676/type/4/index.htm
  15. Yup, you're right, roads in China are not that good. But there were not too many issues reported for other brands unlike KW. Bilstein and TEIN are other popular brands here. The Bilstein B12 (BTS) strut, KW V3, CUSCO, BC and TEIN coilovers are the most common suspension upgrade for 5th gen legacy here.
  16. KW V3 coilovers has been a very popular suspension upgrade here in China, particular for the German car here, but lately there were many reported leaking issues here after just a few weeks of use. The performance shop that I know now don't want to carry their product, since they have to send the product back to Germany for repair. I don't know if in US, they also have the same quality issues. But I just saw Brainchild also had a broken KW V3 a few weeks/months back. That raises a bit of concern to me.
  17. It looks like TEIN finally make coilovers for the USDM 5th gen LGT. https://www.tein.co.jp/srch/eng_search.php?maker=default&restype=1&srchfrwd=BM9
  18. Yes, it came with double sided tape. No drilling of holes needed. For as long as you installed it correctly, I don't think it will fall off. Check out this link - http://www.corazon-world.com/page0207.html There are lots of picture of the spoiler in different angles.
  19. So most probably, we will get it at the same time. Mine is also in Beijing China customs now. I have estimated it I will be able to get it on Wednesday next week.
  20. My trunk spoiler will arrived soon probably next week. Japanparts.com have already shipped it out yesterday. I'm really excited.
  21. Thanks for confirming that there's no drilling required. It's really an added plus that the trunk spoiler comes painted. No need to spend additional money for the paint job especially after knowing how much the paint job cost out there. It's my pleasure to share whatever options I have found for our cars.
  22. This actually not just rolling the fender. It includes cutting the fender, I'm not sure if you really wanted to do that. Not unless you really wanted to install extra wide wheels and have no other choice.
  23. Shipping this to you guys would probably cost me more than 50% of this item cost Sorry guys, not a very good idea, but maybe if I live in US, I will..
