  1. Yup, because the car doesn't need that much air during idle and it get its signal from the throttle to spin the supercharger variably.
  2. This shows how strong this unit can blows air. http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNDU5MTA3MTEy.html
  3. This include a digital meter to show the status of the supercharger, how fast it was variably spinning. Check out the video below: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNzIyMTE2ODUy.html
  4. I finally bite the bullet! Just got a good offer from the seller of electronic supercharger here for USD600. They gave me a big discount to test their supercharger for 15 days with money back guarantee. If I don't liked it, I can always returned it to them without questions ask. I have inquired about this last November and they contacted me last week and ask if I'm willing to test them for 15 days for a discounted price. They claimed it can improve fuel mileage by 10-15% and increased torque by 20-30%. It gets its signal from the throttle and another from the ignition. Below are some of the pictures of the e-supercharger kit. The e-supercharger is not that small as I thought, the inlet diameter is about 75mm while the outlet is 70mm. The only problem is the installation manual/instructions are in Chinese but the good part is it has pictures. Looking at it, it seems quite simple to install them. I hope to install them this weekend.
  5. It's actually in the cusco china website: http://www.cusco.net.cn/shop/canpin.asp?id=364
  6. Those headlight look great! I don't think you will need those adapter. Btw, does those headlight already included the ballast? I ask because my 2013 headlight didn't come with it. I had to buy a new spare one or used my old one.
  7. I almost got this one, I tried to order this but the seller said it will take a couple of weeks to arrive. That's before I saw a cheap 2013 headlight and decided that I will modify it myself. If you don't have plan to modify the headlight, then this one's for you. It should look good on our car. There's some pictures of this headlight installed into Outback. Check this out the link below: http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.67.xKNKms&id=22056995544
  8. Congrats GTEASER, your car look great on new shoes. I also prefer lip-less.
  9. The instruction came with pictures and yup the install is pretty straight forward, but just in case, it's no problem with me, I'm always here to help..
  10. Mine got 85K+ km. No problem so far. I've just change the CVT oil for the 2nd time last 80k scheduled maintenance.
  11. Just got a news that my Bilstein coils will be release soon in 7 to 10 days from customs. Since the Ohlins is not available now, I have decided to just keep the Bilstein and will give it a try. Will just use the money that I've deposited in the shop to order BBK.
  12. Just received a bad news this morning, the Ohlins supplier just called the shop and they said the only stock left on their warehouse was actually for 4th gen Legacy and not for 5th gen. They have to order another batch again and will probably take at least 3 weeks or longer. The shop is still trying to see if he could find from other sources. Worse come to worst, I will have to settle and be patient and wait for my Bilstein coils.
  13. Yup, already more than a month in customs. I have to hire an agency to handle this importation for me. China customs said, I don't have the rights to import suspension parts, hence have to use a company with importation rights to import car parts. The agency has been handling this since last week. BC, thanks. Actually even before reading your reply, I've already made up my mind and have decided to go ahead and ordered the Ohlins coils this morning, the shop said it will be here the earliest this weekend or early next week. I'm excited to see how the Ohlins fare with my old TEIN coils.
  14. The TEIN should definitely be much better in terms of quality than the Megans. The ride quality is not bad especially if installed them properly. The only problem with the TEIN (at least for my type flex) IMHO is the rear coils is a little short to get my desired height, especially if you have 19 inch - 245/40 wheel/tire combination. The damper bottom seat is too short in my opinion. I have to slightly increase my preload so I won't rubbed my tires. The increase in preload somewhat makes the ride a little too stiff for comfort. Those with 235/35/R19 or 245/35/R19 or 18 inch tires should be fine. The front has plenty of room for height adjustment. That's one of the other reasons why I wanted to change my coils aside from the injury suffered of my rear coils while changing my rear LCA. Still waiting for my new coils, it is still being held at customs. It's been more than a month have passed. I'm really tempted to get the OHLINS DFV coils now, especially after reading so many good reviews about their DFV technology and how comfy the ride quality on the street. The good news is it is also available here now. I might just get the Ohlins and sell my Bilstein coils later.
  15. Anyone here got experience with Ohlins coilover in their Suby? I've heard the ride quality is great. I was asking because while waiting for my Bilstein coils to be release from customs, I saw someone selling a brand new Ohlins coilovers last weekend. I was thinking how it compare with the Bilstein.
  16. I've got my bilstein from auctions.yahoo.co.jp, I've availed of the forwarding service from japanparts.com. The bilstein might fit USDM since it uses the OEM top hat?? I saw some great deal blitz coilovers out there before starting price 90K JPY.
  17. My TEIN flex came 7k/6k. Although my soon to arrive Bilstein BSS kit will be 6k /5k. It's still being held at customs.
  18. I agree with you. I still can't get it why it has to be different there in US. If there's some strict regulation about the bumpers in the US, why Subaru can't just retain the other parts and just modify the bumper?
  19. I've used the factory clips and two screws to secure my front lip. The existing holes on mine are big enough for the factory clips. It seems to be fully secured so far.
  20. Finally got my front lip spoiler installed. It took me sometime to decide on this, there are 3 different types of front lip here in China. http://borjaphoto.com/temp/car%20with%20front%20lip%20pic1.jpghttp://borjaphoto.com/temp/car%20with%20front%20lip%20pic2.jpg http://borjaphoto.com/temp/car%20with%20front%20lip%20pic3.jpg
  21. Definitely need to drill some holes and get additional nuts if ever you decide to get the Cusco. The Cusco only supplied one bolt with nut if remember it correctly. Other bolts are screwed on to the other holes which are already threaded. Why do the USDM so different?
