waaa a few weeks ago, I saw someone grab the car, probably your wife. =(
Bout 2 weeks ago it left Frederick on a flat bed. Where'd you see it?
-
Yeah tell me bout it. Just put on a new front mount. Well its cool now....
-
Well. Another head gaaket bites the dust.

I see 1300cc injectors in my future.

So after my last time at the dyno I made less power\torque dueb to improper wastegate operation.
Well today Jermaine tuned it for the intake and the car gained back torque 320\350. Made less hp in large partdue to 91° plus high humidity.
Can hardly wait for the front mount.

Was it something you wanted to try out?
What is the purpose of the resonator?
Did it increases your airintake?

This is my factory airairbox looking at it from the bottom. Front facing away. The resonator blocks this opening and reduces that diameter at the bottom of said resonator to a 1-2mm opening. To me that's free horsepower. Definitely not enough to tune for but does allow more airflow to filter. Literally the 1st mod I did.

It's part of the factory intake system. #14.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160905/ad89af9481d24031126f20b11993544d.jpg
Easy removal.

Few edits to op

An expensive one j/k20. I'll update op next few days when I can see think straight.

I'm sorry guys. I read my post and doesn't make sense. I've had a mountain road with potholes of life recently with my boys' two surgeries, work, schools.

Invidia turbo back
Suspension and exhaust install by Andrewtech Automotive
K&N drop in panel filter
Intake resonator removed
Cobb Ap
Tuned to 247whp@6200\330lb-ft tq@4300 @19-20psi by Jermaine@turboxs
While there a Perrin 3port bcs and turboxs recirc bov was added
Everything else stock.
Worked great till stock tmic end tanks let go then a call was placed to Brian at racerx and his tmic was sent out. His charge pipe wasn't available at the time. Still in development phases.
Then head gaskets started leaking and build began.
FMIC FTW will be next.
I'll organise op to better show my progression soon. Hope this helps.

Yep. 248/330 @17psi on a dyno pak. Its on the 1st post I think.
Just checked 247/330 @20psi

Nice build! Stage 2 didn't really feel that much different from stage 1?
Mind you I went 2in drop, which to me makes more power translate to the operator over stock ride height. But will say driving around town the torque available to use doesn't change a great deal. On the highway, yeah full pull 2-3-part 4 you will. Given that until the turbo or motor is changed the result will be the same. Great torque, not much horsepower. Which given my experience with cooling needs, going stage 2 in my opinion dutifully needs cooling added to list for longevity of components. I havnet gotten a radiator yet. Been on the fence on Mishimoto or Koyo and truly have been slaking. Huge fan of adding an oil and trans radiator in place of top mount when I go front mount. Thouhts?

The quality isn't that great but the sound is decent. Enjoy[emoji3]

2nd^^. I hear ya GTEASER.
The next upgrade will be a front mount then cams. So no more top mount soon.

Just got a dash mount for my phone. Now to make driving vids. Will be up next day or two

This. Just go SD, wire in a GM IAT sensor somewhere on the cold side piping and shitcan the MAF sensor. Intake options open waaaay up after that.
You said s#=%can the MAF[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji106] [emoji106] . Awesome.

Dude when my 4th gen was at Andrewtech I used to always see it there. Love the look/stance of the car!
Thanks. I trust them with all the work on my car. Jermaine over at TurboXS for tuning is just the business. Can't say enough about either.
-
Sorry haven't updated with the latest news.
So the car was on the dyno in May and made 15hp and 20lb-ft less. Even with the Cobb intake. After talking with Maine, the turbo was most likely culprit. So it was back to Andrewtech.
Well some how the wategate flapper wasn't tight and was opening early with little pressure. So turbo off to disassemble and reassemble properly. While it was there I had a Crawford air/oil separator installed.
Haven't had it back on the dyno since but I'm glad the wastegate issue was resolved and the separator. It drives a little bit more 'turboish' I think. I'll do what I can to get an in car vid soon.

So the wife sent me this the other day. Don't know what was more proud moments, both boys older showing the younger the boost or the shifting....just watch.
