  1. I like dual exhausts, It just needs to be centered on the car. Like equidistant from both sides.
  2. Staggered wheels? You need some flares.. or less offset.. And if I were you.. I would center the exhaust..
  3. Bryan never returned my calls or pms, but his products are top notch. I would definitely use his turbos if I went down that road again
  4. So not to rain on anyone's parade, as these are great results and im happy you had good luck. I bought a td04HL-19T from them to replace my td04-13t when it eventually failed. everything was well and good, turbo made FANTASTIC numbers for what it was. full boost of 19psi by 3300 rpm and held it till 6300, tapered to 16 at 7250. My issue, and it could have been a factory defect for all I know, was the TOTAL lack of communication with the company once I bought the turbo, I bought directly from kinugawa usa, located out of California. after just 22 miles of driving and two dyno pulls, my brand new turbo locked up solid and turned into a maraca ON the dyno. now, I figured ok.. no big deal, ill mail it back as a factory defect, something must have not been right with the oil clearances or bearings.. yadda yadda, within 30 days..great. wrong. so wrong. they would only replace my turbo if I mailed it back to the company for inspection. ok no sweat, where do I mail it to? I bought it from California so it only makes sense that I have to mail it back to Taiwan via UPS with delivery conformation and insurance of $800. wait, wat. yes, you read that right. in order for me to even come close to getting a replacement turbo.. I had to mail it back to Taiwan for a woppi9ng total of $210 and EAT shipping costs both ways. dafuq? so I say this is horseshit, to paypal we go. I open a paypal review, paypal gets in touch with the company and after 13 days of no communication paypal says that in order for me to get a partial refund for my turbo (because I had used it...) of 80% of my initial purchase price, I had to mail the turbo back to Taiwan via their choice carrier.. for $267 dollars!!! the whole time kinugawa USA is ignoring my phone calls, voicemails, emails, everything. long story short, I sacked up and mailed back my brand new turbo for $267 to the address the company provided. paypal two weeks later tells me they CANT issue me ANY refund because the turbo went to the same address in a DIFFERENT providence within Taiwan. so **** that. but, Im glad you had a good experience.
  5. You're looking for a used one? Or only things vendors have in stock..
  6. ..have you looked at holset turbos at all? I know the 7 blade hx35 is well and good capable of 20+ psi by 3500 rpms and flows 60lbs a minute. I know of two that are in the ~500 whp range. If you're looking for more you could always go hx40, or even 50. And if you're feeling like a super boss the hx55 can be had in variable vane, which I don't think would be that complicated to rig up to work.
  7. My kamak lasted 22 miles and I had shit customer service that ended up in a paypal dispute and me losing $256 to ship it back overseas.
  8. That's why I went factory bottom end and supercharger. I got sick of not driving my car and wanted something reliable again.
  9. Just a single loud backfire? You're sure you're not 180* out?
  10. Permatex makes a product called the right stuff. Order/buy it. Its an RTV product that you put anywhere you never want to leak again. Its simply amazing shit.
  11. Yes and no. Tuning and tig welding are the two things I can't do on my own. I'm working on tig welding, I'd rather leave tuning to someone else for now.
  12. tomorrow morning when i back it out of the shop and into a parking spot i may not test drive it at all until i go to get it tuned. it makes 4 psi at 1600 rpm unloaded, aka running LEAAAAANNN since prior to that the turbo didnt start to spool till 2500 or so. so.. unless i can manage some rough ass base map, it may just be driving in and out of the garage and when i load it on a flatbed to bring it for a tune
  13. this is obviously before it was painted etc... http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=156572&d=1372893594
  14. I'm running a 17x7.5 +38 5x114 wheel with a 25mm 5x100 to 5x114 hubcentric adapter. Gives me an effective ET of +13. Also have 245/40/17 tires..
  15. I'm still debating whether to go matte black or the camo tan of the rest of the car. When I cut the hood, it burned the paint so I had to peel it.
