  1. I don't think that 16s will clear ANY Brembo calipers or rotors. The LGT factory brakes wont clear on 16s...
  2. I agree with this. The wife doesn't, but happiness is a big player in the MPG game. I enjoy some good driving time, and the wife appears to currently being on board for me driving the wagon out to WagonFest this year! Fingers crossed! On a side note, anyone in the Midwest area interested in actually doing a LGT convoy all the way out there?!
  3. No, I know it won't new much gain. It is more to reduce drone @ 75 mph. My cheap exhaust may as well be straight pipes.
  4. I just carry a D-ring. Separate key rings for each vehicle and take off the appropriate one that I am driving and leave the rest attached to my belt loop. Been working for me for 6+ years now.
  5. Do you happen to have part numbers for the shifter and cable assembly and clips per chance? I am interested in this, as mileage sucks when freeway driving in the LGT with the current 5 speed.
  6. Where did you find this magical linkage for $30?
  7. I don't have a new car (05 LGT wagon), but I am just going to throw out there that the auto climate control seems to make some interesting noises as things warm up / cool down. I would take it to the stealership for sure if it was mine.
  8. Ok, figured I would offer! If you need parts, let me know. I'm not that far away. The car is complete, just rusty and not worth the work to me anymore.
  9. I have an entire 97 LGT in my driveway. Interested in that? It hasn't moved or run in 10 years.
  10. Not today, but haven't been around in the last couple of days. I changed the Oil again. Also put an Amazon special (DNA Motoring) CBE on. Also managed to snag up a Cargo cover, O2 sensor, and an unused NEW Mevotech LCA (aluminum). Will be getting the matching one for the other side next spring (likely) to do the front suspension. The exhaust is loud, and drones a good deal at highway speeds, but for $230 bucks shipped to my house, it didn't seem like a bad deal. It is a 3" Stainless from DP to the splitter / y-pipe, and then 2 1/2" the rest of the way. A guy I work with is a good welder, and he touched up all the flanges on the inside so it shouldn't crack where it probably would have. It had very thin welds at the flanges, and almost NO penetration, but what can you complain about for that cost?
  11. DC Power Inc and PowerBastards are the only ones that I know of that are known to work on Subaru.
  12. if it is an 05, the hood "should" be the tell for turbo or NA. If it has a scoop, it is a turbo (unless modified). These engines are quite noisy compared to other 4 cylinders. Good luck!
  13. I don't believe that the Legacy is a CK wired car. You can check with a multimeter or trouble light like in the link provided by @SubOperator
  14. Lol... I hate to look at this. My car does this, but it is not temperature dependent. I am just biding my time (and my pocket / marriage) until I want to spend a bit of money to fix this. I am guessing I will do this and the clutch at the same time (165,000 miles).
  15. Did you buy CK bulbs? If so, you may have found your problem. I can't find anything saying that the Legacy has CK wiring for any of the bulbs. I have looked, but I am NOT 100% sure that I am correct. Sounds to me like you ordered and / or received the wrong bulbs. If you have CK bulbs, it will kill everything that you are describing.
  16. Well, I am not a suspension guru, but I would think that if you lowered the car with springs, it would change the lateral link geometry. I think you may need Camber adjustment in the rear and front to correct this issue. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

    Texas trip

Lol! Not a Dr and no coat hangars. I don't think they will let me carry those on the plane.
  18. If anyone is in the Temple TX area, and wants to meet up in the evening early next week (Mon / Tues), I will be down there for work.

    Texas trip

I don't know how to word this to make it not weird, so I will just say it. If anyone is in the Temple TX area, and wants to meet up in the evening early next week (Mon / Tues), I will be down there for work. Just figured I would throw it out there.
  20. The Alarm with Disable is cobbled together in those cars. I have one sitting in my driveway awaiting the great dismantling. If they did not fully disable the alarm, there is a circuit that ties the Start Solenoid to a relay inside the alarm box. This would be where I start, or at least after checking the grounds.
  21. Does this fit the Aluminum FCA's? I am looking at getting a set, but was wondering if getting used and replacing the bushings would be the best bet? I am starting to get some sloppy feelings in the front. FWIW - Amazon has them for the same price (WEK079) $192.57
  22. I am stoked about this! I missed all of the traffic here from Friday to now. I am down to assist in setting one up in the Western Ohio / Eastern Indiana area if there are enough of us!
  23. I would be down for a Midwest Wagon Fest! Down here in Ohio, and Can't do a trip across the country right now (or in the remotely near future). If I can help with anything to get one arranged, I may be able to!
  24. Ah, ok. I was misunderstanding what happened. So the car applied the brakes on its own and did that?! Crazy. I hate the modern technology where it thinks it knows better than the driver. This just solidifies my dislike for it. Sorry this happened to you, hopefully everything works out!
  25. I would be interested in the cargo cover. Can't come out to get it though...
