Looking for a 6 speed, preferably non-DCCD. Working or not working is fine (depending on damage, it has to of course be repairable). Located in TX, can also pick up if its in/around SoCal.

Pretty slick! Seriously considering a lift in my next place, and height restrictions have been on my mind so thanks for a possible elegant solution.

Underdog Motorsports - 2015 STI Steering Rack Swap
Kaos22B replied to Underdog's topic in Suspension/Brakes
A (belated) follow up. Let me start with the following caveats before I describe how it felt when I drove the car around. 1) Car wasn't properly aligned yet 2) Breaking engine in/getting miles on it at low-med throttle/boost/rpm. That said... it's very fun. I always describe my own RS with the GD ratio STi rack (15:1) as feeling go-kart like. This RS with the 13:1 rack is far more deserving of that comparison, and wicked fun around corners even at moderate speed. I barely have to rotate the wheel and it goes where I want. I truly cannot wait until we finish this thing and get it trackable. I was concerned it would make the car twitchy at speed and even less desirable to drive. Wrong. I want to drive it more because of this, just not as a DD (which, for me isn't what a swapped RS is for). Seriously considering doing this to the Spec B or my own RS at some point (Spec B, if there are truly no issues with the VDC. The RS if I decide to go with the aftermarket x member, which is an additional consideration as far as cost/fitment). Not sure how much that helps anyone technically, but just another "I very much enjoy the faster rack" review. -
Shoot, so sorry to hear that. Hopefully he heals on his own and doesn't need any more vets poking at him.

Here is our boxer pup during the Texas snowpocalypse in Feb, having the time of his life in this white powder stuff. He's turning out to be an amazing dog and truly a wonderful best friend. Unfortunately, my husky Roxy was not around to enjoy her favorite season, as we had to say goodbye to her this last December. I even found the posts (prior closed official pets thread) where I brought her home and shared with the forum that very day. She gave us a wonderful 15+ years and I'll never forget her. Also, holy cow it's been a long time since I have joined this forum

Underdog Motorsports - 2015 STI Steering Rack Swap
Kaos22B replied to Underdog's topic in Suspension/Brakes
I just finished this install but on a swapped GC, which was a bit more work. New crossmember, new column, custom adaptor for column to rack, modified thread adaptors to use factory ITRs, factory 15+ lines and pump. Waiting on a driveshaft and finishing up some other driveline parts to drive it and compare it to my swapped RS that has a GD STi 15:1 rack, to see if all that work was worth it. I'm thinking on a super light and small GC, it may be too quick for a street car. It will be nice to compare and give an idea of what the Spec B would be like with it however, and the install on that should be easier. -

Cool! I'll be in touch. Having the datalogging issue and have already replaced my ecu, but that wasn't it... -

Is the bulkhead harness still available? -

Upgraded my rear speakers to Polk 652s, and re-realized what a bitch Subaru makes this task out to be thanks to their ridiculous doors While in there I added new moisture barriers I made myself, with new adhesive, and added some sound deadening. I did have issues with the adaptor brackets from IAtuning at first. They were very helpful in getting it sorted and showing me that the brackets needed to be trimmed in a certain way (I imagine many of you are already aware of this?) and then after it was all done, I found that Kartboys brackets were now available from Paranoid Fabrications. Turns out their Impreza adaptors do fit our rear doors quite nicely (can't speak to the fronts).

This last weekend I upgraded my radiator fans and used the same mounting system I've been using on swaps for years. I had a Mishimoto on there that was quite good (and is FS if you want it) but, my OCD required matching fans that could move as much air as possible (it gets hot over here!) Added plus, tons of space between the fans and engine. I have an overflow bottle solution in the works as well.

This was a few weeks back but figured I'd share, my new daily has a backup camera and while I originally protested at this sissy new gimmick.... now I love having it So I got one from Crutchfield and away I went! I'll likely rewire it to the upper screen later, and will be making a custom shim to adjust the angle but since I know this chassis so well it's more for me to see how close my bumper is while parking /exiting tight spaces (garage etc.) Note, don't use the bit that comes with their camera, it's shit. I tied in the trigger/power wire to the backup light wire as shown, snaked the cable to the front and it easily plugged into my current headunit. I took special care to make sure it was as close to centered as possible, their shit bit slipped a mm perhaps but my OCD isn't THAT bad.

fs - location: TX: Factory GT Radiator Fans

As shown, working condition of course but I took the plug ends to use on my new fans. No darn clue what these would go for, make me an offer that covers shipping + paypal and will buy me lunch and I'm happy -
I installed this on my Koyo radiator but opted to switch out to a different setup. A couple of the "zip" style mounts had come off and so there is some rubbing marks/cuts (as you can see in the photo) however the fan blades etc. are all perfectly in tact. For what it's worth, this thing moves some air! $50 shipped.

What time frame are you wanting one?

Thanks so much. Looking at the 8" wide and running my 235/40s. I absolutely detest rubbing issues so I appreciate the input -

Hi OP, very clean ride Did you have any clearance issues with the Raijins? Or is it at all close to the body with the tires you have on?
