I'm pretty sure if you tried to smash a keyboard through a CRT you would just crush the keyboard against the monitor. i once dropped a CRT from 6' in the air into an empty trash bin (as instructed by the owner) and it didnt even crack.

dont know the area, I've only been to the frys/gwinnett place area in gwinnett county. Most of the faildrivers from gwinnett I see are in my areas (cobb paulding fulton.. and anything on I-20 between here and augusta.) the most common problems I see from gwinett and clayton are refusal to allow faster traffic to pass in the fast lane, random braking.. LOTS of random braking.. very fast or very slow driving.. just.. extremes of every kind. predictiability (other than the fact that they WILL NOT yield to faster traffic) is very low with both of these counties.

slookin good. I'm afeared that it might be too black to be oem finish, but its DAMN close. Do you have an oem piece you can put beside it? tbh I think our factory pieces are dipped or sprayed with some sort of rubber coating. Ford did similar to their late 90s early 2000 truck interior components.

great price. Hey I had that keyboard.. it sucked! I still have it on the floor of my garage somewhere.. I dunno where the receiver is tho.. I think its in my used to be in-car now on floor of garage toolbox. My garage looks like a hurricane hit it.. and left sawdust drywall powder and tools everywhere. I was thikning if I did this again I would get an EEE box. They're about $300 and seem like they MIGHT be small enough to glovebox. I'd keep everything up front.. get an oem screen thats broken (hopefully) for the buttons and wire them up to a serial port to do something.. I wouldn't try to make any products for people next time aorund.. too much trouble and cost. Trying to make this for everyone is kind of what ruined my taste for the project the 1st time.

subaru of kennesaw is my "shop" for the time being. They're pretty good, I guess the prices are kinda high tho. They did install my SS brake hoses tho w/o a fuss and flushed my brake fluid with ATE w/o question.. so thats good. I know a chevy dealer if oyu brought them a chevy to do that with would raise an eyebrow. Do yall do IPT transmissions by chance?
