  1. No problem guys, I was miffed when mine started to go and I sure didnt want to spend money to have an auto shop to do it when I knew it would cost me pennies to do it myself. Now, if you guys have any other little things you want to know how to fix, or larger things, let me know, I have my project sitting outside and since I have to completely strip it down, I will have no problem taking the time to walk people through taking apart their car to fix an issue by themselves
  2. Hmmm I wonder who that blue 2.5i was behind me around 4:45 on Rte7 in Vergennes.....
  3. Kinda creepy today, went to work at about 8am and I passed a '07 DGM LGT with Steelies headed south bound in New Haven on RTE 7 piloted by a female, then when I was let out of work early at about 3pm I passed her again, in the same place, now going in the opposite direction (kinda weird) also about 12:30pm I passed a Black '05 2.5i going through Vergennes. I was out on lunch coming back from Luigis
  4. Yeah I'm in need of some good old Burlington food .... .... no seriously

  7. Alright, whos got the used '07 Spec B from Auto Creek with the LIC "1BADB" and the Kosei rims? Saw it last night when I was leaving the airport.... Looked something like this... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/Aczwild/0113082157.jpg Couldn't really tell what was so "bad" about it... care to elaborate?
  8. They will not work due to the humps, the deletes are designed without the humps in mind, they will not fit inside/flush with the humps

  11. #1) Hankook Icebear W300's 225/50/R17 98V XL B (Winter's) $1053 Paid (Winter Tire and wheel package, mounted on 17x7" MB Weapons, balanced and package included Locking Lugs and Hub-centric rings) from discounttiredirect.com, they are listed though individually @ 120.00 per #2) Cornwall, VT #3) General Use in the winter. Sole reason of purchase was to replace summer tires and to get a good tire that was dependable in the deep snow and possibly ice. #4) 50% "highway" if thats what you want to call the major VT roads I drive on, 50% pothole infested dirt roads with major frost heaves #5) Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Summer tires #6) As for these tires I've had them for a week. They were very good when there was no snow on the ground in terms of almost no road noise, handling and taking the bumps. I will say they did become a little, and I do mean a little squirly at speeds of 80+, however there was a slight dusting of snow on low maintained roads in sub freezing conditions. As for what they are meant for, in the layer of ice (on the bottom) and 3 inches of snow today the tires performed remarkably well. When traveling on the highway at speeds just below 55 mph in 2+ inches of slush with snow still coming down they were very stable. Even when I intentionally tried to see if I could get the car to pull in a general direction (other than straight) by driving into the mounds of slush in the center of my lane and the side of the road (IE drivers side tire in the center of my lane and the passenger's over the white line) at speed, the car never pulled and maintained its course (I was even brave enough to let go of the wheel for a few secs to see if there was any vibration at all, which there was none). So far I am very happy with these tires and I will provide more feedback on them when we get more snow and the conditions are worse

  15. My brain hurts...:lol: ROFLS
  16. Hmmmm It can be done. Can you remove the "humps" to reveal where they lay into on the wagon? I assume they have a few screws to hold them in. If this is the case you could make a positive cast of the female end of the roof (where the present rails are) by laying some saran wrap down and then filling the empty rail in with plaster (make sure the screw holes have something in them that stick up past the fill line). With that positive you could then sand it down to what you would like, then you could take the positive, wrap it in saran wrap again and make a negative, with which you could make fiberglass rail deletes... If only someone with a vendor status, that had a wagon, did this, then they could market it......
