Posted some fresh pics in this thread:

(come to think of it, might make sense for it to move to the 'Legacy Photos 2010+' section)

Cool. Yea, I'll report back here or in a new thread if this one is closed.

Cool! Thanks for the pics and review.
How is the sound quality when playing radio/CDs or using AUX? Is it on par with the stock unit, better/worse?
We'll mod it soon enough, load up different firmware, software, updated or replacement nav and maps.
These unit that seem to use the same hardware have a vastly different GUI so that could be one approach.

I got one as well, will let everyone know how it is.
Reviews (both video and text) of similar units for other make/models look promising.
Seems its easy enough to load updated firmware/software
and potentially swamp in other GoGo or TomTom maps.
For 300 bucks I'll experiment and toss it if its no good.
Wouldn't do the same for the regular price @ 1-2K.
Just as ridiculous as OEM.

^^^ Yup. RavSpec based here in NY was selling all these BTAero parts.

Yep, I have some including close-ups. I'll post them this weekend. Looks like alcopaulic and therover did the same with their front emblems: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3829893&postcount=107Pics? I've been thinking about doing this and plasti-dipping the 2.5GT badge as well.http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3840948&postcount=508
You can also find some of my front emblem and 3.6R plastidip'ed pics in this thread (these were done before I plastidip'ed the rear emblem):

Looks like it. I had a shop do the same when they wrapped my grill in 3M flat black DiNoc. To match, I PlastiDipped the rear Subaru emblem chrome. Came out perfect and looks great on GGM.^^did you plasti-dip the chrome on the front Subaru emblem? Got a close up shot? -
Looking good iammatt. Any planned changes?

Looks great. Love the wheels.
Thanks guys! That's exactly the look I'm going for... OEM+.That's how our cars should look stock. Nice work.Next up I'm thinking Axel-back or at least welded tips, drilled pedal set, painted calipers (black), slight drop (RCEs to keep the stock shock/struts for now).

Yeah, thanks Apike11. Had a hard time at the bumper folds too. Do you have any pics of the brackets you used - I was to replicate that look and agree its much more natural.

He's cool like that (lol). I've seen a USDM-spec trend in Japan.
Toyota, Honda and Mazda guys seem to do the same thing.
A whole scene 'loves' USDM bumpers, orange reflectors, US license plates.
The closer to USDM spec or 'ghetto-fabulous', the better.
Reminds me of how chrome tailights for many cars are advertized as 'Euro-look' (no clue how?) in the US and 'Lexus/Altezza-look' in Europe. With Lexus traditionally recognized as an exotic US brand (*cough* rebaged needless mark-up Toyota *cough*) hence the Altezza reference (Toyota Altezza was the JDM name for the 1st-gen Lexus IS as sold in Japan). I guess they sell better this way, sounding exotic on both sides of the pond for vastly different reasons.
