Good question guys. Same here (I've got the Tanabe STB, nsg8tr has the STi one).
-
Would be even better if I still lived near PDX, in the PNW.
Jordan confirmed he needs someone to stop by.
Needs a few hours and we should have the part.
Added bonus is the development mule gets the part free.
From there, we can organize a one-time GB again.
Jordan told me the braces should not be too expensive (which I read as <$100).

Bumping the old thread back to life!
Jordan of Gladman Performance Fabrication is interested in fabricating a proper 5th gen USDM MCB for us!
Anyone local to WA or Vancouver who could stop by?

I'll bring the chizzel, ice melt plus approx. 8 gallons of boiling water.

Czesc Michal! Tu drugi Michal.
I agree with your observations on the RCE blacks / Bilstein shock combo.
All the way to the 'passengers can't text' finding, which for me is a big plus.
No SMS/MMSing, no FB, no Twitter, no web browsing. Because racerar.
Listen to my hogxhaust at WOT and during downshift throttle blips damn'it!

Love. It's what makes Subaru, a Subaru. So SOA did a car for Ken with the JDM front end, but they won't give it us, the ones who provide the unit sales.Hate. It's what makes a SoJ Subaru, a SoA Subaru.

From the backdrop I think this 2013+ LGT is JDM, in Asia somewhere (mainland China? Taiwan?) but OP is from Texas.

Yep. I do for example. Scroll back a dozen or so pages in this thread to see some recent ones.Anyone have this installed? Pics? -
Note - those won't clear Brembos! and might require a 5-10 profile rubber band.Found a load of tires for all you guys runnin 19s or 20s. X 255+ Some roll and pull required. -

Beautiful. Wish mine were 19s. You got them in 5x100 (haven't seen them in our bolt pattern at this size) or have the bolt pattern adapters?...yeah, they are GTC01s but sized 19x8. The tires are Conti Extreme Contact DWs in 245/40-19. -
Nice! Those look like my exact wheels. Enjoy them....I thought I posted these a while back, but I guess not. I didn't get a chance to put them on this year, but hopefully I can get them on next Spring. -
Also a NIET from me. I was recently quoted 320-400 to get 4 18" chrome wheels powder coated any regular metallic color at a reputable shop in the Tri-State area.
I think you should be able to find someone who'd do it and do it well for 60-80/wheel near Boulder.
I think bronze, gray, silver, dark chrome matt would look good. Even dark gold.
UPDATE: Uploaded a few recent photos, showing off nstg8tr installed LED DRLs in fog bezels and Long Island fall colors.
I'll post up LED headlight bulb close-ups and throws next.

Any chance this could work for the 5th gen? Or has anyone with a 5th gen achieved the same somehow?
-
In that case sure he can. I Re-read and see that now.
As long as its 19mm instead of just a stock 2013+ RSB, which is still 16mm.
-
Don't jump on that 2013+ RSB just yet. I believe the stock RSB is still only 16mm on all engine/trims. You can either pickup the 19mm from someone selling theirs on the forum or one of our friendly vendors or the st...dealership.From what I've seen when I was putting in exhaust I believe these numbers are correct. with 23 front and 16 toothpick in the back. I Just found a guy with a stock 2013 rear sti bar with bushings almost new that I can get for $50. (either 19 or 20mm?) so I think I May pick that up and run that for a bit till I decide to switch front and rear out. to a 26mm front and 22(23)mm rear whiteline like you were saying. that sounds like the setup I want down the road a bit but we'll try this for now (for 50 bones can I go wrong?). im already sitting on hnr lowering springs and 245/40/18s so it should be nice I think. Thanks for the suggestions! and ill see how this comes out. ill probably want even more though after I get a taste and will be changing it right after haha. ps. would I need a realignment after just a rsb install? Some vendors even have it listed for ease of ordering (search in the vendor area).
But yes, you're best bang for the buck is a thicker RSB from the get-go.
If you can, grab a 22mm adjustable Whiteline. Then once you have more funds, pickup the 26mm Subaru FSB. Its ideal for the H6.

I'm planning to pick up a few suspension parts soon, any idea which vendor offers the best competitive pricing? Whiteline Roll Center & Bump Steer Kit Whiteline 20mm Adjustable RSB Rallitek HD Front & Rear endlinks (Rallitek's website does not have 5th gen Legacy listed as compatible vehicles, but I know they work. If anyone can provide info, will be great!)
Ping my main man Rick of Underdog Motorsports. http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=10142
He's a zen-level suspension guru and he's got awesome pricing on all these.
For the endlinks, I'd vote for the Whiteline adjustables:
http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KLC172
http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KLC182
See what Rick tells you.
For your 2012, I'd recommend: 2013+ stock FSB (26mm, nice and bulky for the heavy H6) and a Whiteline 22mm RSB (set to medium or highest setting).Ok. So Ive heard different things... some say its better to go with a larger rear sway bar to compensate for the understeer and neutralize the car but others are going with a larger front because thats how it comes stock and of course there is more weight up there to be pushed. anyone have any recommendations? i was thinking of going with 22 whitelines on both front and rear and set the rear firm and front soft. but i have no idea.thanks.
Night and day difference from stock and these two complement each other nicely (even better than a 2010-2012 stock 23mm FSB + any beefier-than-stock 19+ mm RSB).
Stock Front: 23mm
Stock Rear: 16mm
2013+ Front: 26mm
Outback/'STI' Rear: 19mm
-
I've gone with the 22mm and haven't looked back.
26mm Subaru FSB + 22mm Whiteline RSB on medium or max setting and you'll be golden.
Ping Rick from Underdog Motorsports (he's a vendor on here) for a great price on Whiteline stuff.

Hey ncfree, its the C-Mod grill (same as blklgt05 I think). I had it vinyl wrapped (semi-gloss metalic black) and currently still using the C-Mod mesh. It looks good but isn't car-wash 'approved' (comes loose no matter how well you attach it). I'm planning to swap it out with some honey comb mesh I purchased a while back.

V nice. Any rubbing? Bottoming out? Fender rash? Did you need to have the fenders rolled/pulled in either the front or back or both?18x8.75 +33 -

Thanks for the install photos. Great idea.
How do you like it so far? Throttle response?
Sound at WOT, MAF location with this setup?
