Rock: Gotcha. Good deal.
Silver: Haha. I thought they had to be pressed out/in.
-
Hey, good deal, man! What was wrong with the old headlights though?
-
True. Just tape off the parts you dont want to repaint and just repaint the bead.
-
Sharpie Yeah, I thought about fixing the rash from the PO's terrible driving skills, but instead I just lightly sanded and painted over it. You cant tell from 10' away anyway.
-
Dang. Those looks pretty cool, man. Found what tires you're gonna buy yet?
-
Yeah, they had good timing, right? haha

You'll have to use UV resistant clear coat. Mine is starting to turn a bit yellow after a few months. They're still not hazy, but they're yellowish.
I'm not personally a fan of Rota's.

Yep. They never last, but whatever. Small price to pay.
-
Nice Didnt get any pictures?
We'll see. Worst case scenario: You transmission blows up. Best case scenario: It drives
Ooooh. I get some good stuff for mine too. Eneos
KM's I assume, but still...awesome!

Dang! That's cheap That's what the guy that was doing my tires up at Firestone was saying. He's like "well, you need new wipers, but I checked all under the car and everything looks fine." I was just smiling cause while I'm taking my 20 year old car off-road some people are having trouble with their 4 year old cars and daily driving.
-
Someone did. Doesn't look too bad either. They're pretty big though.
-
Oh, just a TMIC XD I read that completely wrong haha
-
You're getting a whale tail? I would cut out part of the bumper and
install some lights in there yourself.
Maybe install some lights about 2" off the sides of the center light.

I probably wouldnt buy too many Kia's, but I have a rule.
Never buy the first year of a new or redesigned car. There's
too many variables that they'll fix later and make a service
bulletin without having a recall.
-
Lucky! That sucks about the kia though :/
Yeah, that's about what I paid.
-
You got it pressed in? How much was the whole process?
-
I'm ready to junk the piece of crap...I cant find where this problem is.
Freakin car...it hits a wall sometimes and wont go over 2500rpm and
sometimes it stalls and others it sounds like it's running on one less
cylinder. I'm about to take it to a shop, but I was hoping some people
had ideas first. It doesnt run bad all the time, but it does feel like there's
resistance against the pedal even on good days. Like my engine will only
let me use 3/4 of the potential of the torque and HP.
-
92Leg: Nice, dude. The WRX ones aren't so easy to come by if I remember right.
Rock: Good idea
-
Finally got around to pulling the right side steering knuckle today. it actually came apart rather easily. got to take it up to the wifes work and have there shop press out the old and press in the new in the morning. that bearing is trashed kinda scared to see it when it comes out.
Make sure when you put those camber bolts back in the strut that you make sure they're set right. If not you'll eat through tires super quick.
-
just bought a 02-03 wrx hood scoop and thing that directs the air for 30 bucks and started on my mesh grill now i just need to find a second hood or try to buy this turbo wagon in my area and gut it out of all the stuff i want
You got a splitter for a WRX scoop? Nice
-
Haha, well it's not too hard. Maybe 10 minutes your first time. Just make sure the belts are the same before you throw that one on there. The teeth in particular. I think the AC belt only has 3 teeth and the power steering has 4...or the other way around.
-
Could be they changed the belt a bit in design over the years and used the old box. Not sure what the V would stand for though. Check it against your old belt. If it has the same teeth design and it's about the same size (a tiny bit smaller wont hurt since your belt probably stretched over the years) and it has the same number of teeth I'd try it on there. We're talking about the power steering belt or AC belt, right?
-
I like those ones. They have a good, strong close range light output so you can angle your headlights out further and use those to bridge the gap.
What'd you do to your FIRST Gen. Subaru today?
