I was trying to confirm this info as I am looking to get a set of Swifts for my 2013. The Swifts are made for the GT struts/shocks.
How can I find the part numbers from the FredBeans site?
Email Ryan. Probably your best bet.

Is there a particular reason for not recommending TEIN? I do like Eibach.
In other words, if the part number of the 2013 struts are same as previous years, then the chance is good?
Thanks again
I haven't personally used them but a lot of people don't seem to like them. IMO just from looking at the drop and reading about the specs they lower the car too much and the spring rate isn't high enough for that amount of drop. Plus you are better off with a more moderate drop if you want the stock shocks to last for awhile.

Wondering if TEIN/H&R lowering springs will fit the 2013 model of Legacy (2.5 or 3.6); I read that at least the springs are different than the 2010-2012. Thanks!
No one has probably tried yet. As long as the struts didn't change any of those aftermarket springs should be good to go. Personally I wouldn't go with Tein. I'd go Swift/Eibach/H&R/Racecomp etc.

Good god that banner is terrible. Looks like the slogan for some craptastic Honda car club or something.

19x8.5 Tenzo Cuzco Wheels. I heard they got discontinued a long time ago though.
Discounttiredirect is still selling them...

^ Do either of you care to share the your KW settings? Mine should be arriving this week, was debating creating a new thread specific for KW V3 settings.
-
Ugh I'm supposed to get mine next week. For the money these things cost they better damn well fix it if something goes awry like that. Keep us updated.
-
Nice so what did you tap into and where did you route the wires?

Could be lower, but no rubbing is nice.
downside... blew my left rear KW after less than 10 months of daily driving. They should be replacable under thier warranty but will have to call them monday to beign the process. Also, my whiteline rear endlink snapped on the right side after about 500 miles. They are replacing that as well under warranty but I've been driving around with it broken for a while

Never saw this. What happened exactly?

The vent pod arrived today. The boost gauge should go in next week.
Welp assuming it fits well and everything, there goes more of my money.
-
Yeah I'd like to correct my previous statement, it's only 08+ WRX coilovers that fit I guess. The 08+ STI ones are slightly different than the WRX ones.

Better tires will probably help you brake faster 60-0.

Not going to bother spending the money until the RE050A's are dead.

As stated above pedal is much stiffer and has a better feel. Definitely get a quicker and stronger (but not harsh) bite with the new pads.
Good to hear.
I need to get my lines and pads on, had a seriously close encounter with stopping short on the thruway the other day. Need to stop faster

because the axleback portion of the Megan exhaust is designed to bolt up to their center pipe, not stock.
Invidia uses different flanges on their axlebacks than OEM, Borla has a slip-fit connection, etc. They're all kinda different in their own way.
Yeah makes sense. Magnaflow uses the slip fit joints as well.

Does anyone know if Gen4 and Gen5 coilover are cross compatible? If it is, i'm keeping my flex!
Don't believe so. The 08+ WRX coilovers work as long as you use the OEM 5th gen tophats.

Nice write up. This is the kind of stuff that should be stickied.

unfortunately I no longer have this Thule roof rack. Some dirty bastard stole them in front of my house:mad:..no dents not scratch..and It was totally locked. no more thule roof for me. I just got a new 'hidden hitch'
How is that possible?
-
If its about the "awd" i aint gonna let it stop me from doing something i love
I see. Do you do much "drifting" other than when it snows out?
-
New custom dual exhaust on Friday
Perfect sound and a significant increase of power/ speed of acceleration in my opinion and made a little kid in a van next to me climb up out of his child seat to look as i passed by
What exactly are you drifting?
-
All of those lights go off when these cars throw a CEL so I've learned from experience. You might be having an o2 sensor issue if it's running rough.
-
Hasn't it been like a year and a half now?
-
lol that sucks for you guys.

So after my CNT downpipe fiasco I realized just how close the stock/Invidia downpipe comes to the front sway bar.
Does anyone have an aftermarket downpipe like the Invidia with a Whiteline front sway bar? I know they make two, one is 24mm and the other is 26mm.

Nice numbers! Were you at full weight or did you take some stuff out of the car?
The track here opens in a week, hopefully the weather will be dry!
Better get used to that lightweight flywheel. Let me know when you go.
