A good day. I plan to try this next season
-
That's a nice pattern. In my selection process, ended up migrating towards concave rims to complement (to me) the aggressive fender wheel arches.
18x9s are the min rim width to see the effect. Good news is even with et35 offset, there is no fender interaction. et40-45 with 18x9.5s would be even better.

Just remember those rims are a safety upgrade

Waaazooo - nice find!!
-
looking good!
What are you leaning towards for Rims and exhaust?
-
Good plan! Balance for the long term!!
-
Finally washed & gave it a hand wax. It doesn't stay looking nice long living on a dirt road though. I am dying to get blacked out headlights soon, then rims in the spring, then suspension, ahhhhh it never ends!
Car with roof spoiler Looks great. Who makes the smoked window visor?

I was not big on the silver either, but this steel silver is darker than most. I initially was steering towards the graphite grey but the chrome trim stuck out too much and not so much on the SSM.
Have you thought of painting your calipers yellow? That would complement the caps!!

Delta- car looks great. Winter mode is the car's favorite!!
-
That looks really good with the spacers/OEM wheels.
Yes, the spacers do reduce that awkward gap. I will add that the Rally Armor flaps have eliminated the road grime and splatter spun onto the rear doors and front/rear of the rear fenders. The OEM flaps could not eliminate this at 35mm with the summers and my guesstimate is they woun not have helped with the winter setup.

Bump for SSM!! Put on Winter set up this weekend. Installed 15mm spacers to clear the OEM rims for a 40mm offset.

Yes, I do not recall anyone trying to physically fit a 4th gen front strut bar. If you know someone with one, give it a try... just remember the torque spec in the bolts is only 14 ft/lb.
-
Guessing the distance is different and the bolt pattern is the same. Looked real quick on the GTSpec site to verify the part numbers differ.
edit: fahr - side indicates the bolt pattern differs as well.

A little after 2, spotted a grey 4th Gen LGT on RT138 heading towards RT1 (RI)

Thanks for the last post. Is there anything different for turbo over NA? Maybe I got smoked...
-
Welcome and enjoy the Subie. I'm on #5 as well.
You may want to post in the 4th gen area for your car. Subaru included many nice options in 2009 so nice choice.

wrxwhit - looks great. I see the WRX in the garage. Any notes on the basic differences between the two?

Spotted a 5th gen LGT GGM in Newport today. Get a wash!!

Car looks great with tints. Enjoy!!

Esteddom - look for a PM.

In for pics.
I ended up going a slightly different path with 15mm hubcentric spacers that bolt-on and can be removed. Need to bolt on for the winter since the OEM rims (55 offset) don't clear the Brembos.
Did not try it yet, but I hoping this space will get the spare to clear the Brembos.
