  1. Let me know what you guys come up with. I will just buy new from napa or autozone. I just currently don't have money to throw around since I am going to have a new engine put in. Along with Group N STI Engine Mounts, STI Pitch Stop, and Grimmspeed phenolic spacers.
  2. My L seems to have come with every factory option available. So I do have ABS. Any other Brake Master Cylinders other then the GT that would work? Or just go with a GT one ?
  3. So since I have an L I should get a GT Brake Master cylinder or do you have a recommendation for an upgrade? I plan on doing WRX fronts H6 rear.
  4. My pedal is also soft and I bled it properly. I also currently have the stock setup. Since I now have to do an engine replacement and pay to have it done since I don't have the space.
  5. Great link. I think I need to do an upgrade still though. I have L calipers. @Camron sorry for the thread jack.
  6. So in the end just by putting bigger rotors on all it really does is give better heat dissipation right? Or am I not understanding the big picture here.
  7. I think what we need. Is less confusion and more clarity in this matter. I think the front is simple. Most common is WRX 2 pots FRONT: WRX 2 pot calipers Caliper Brackets Rotor's Pads Rear: H6 Caliper H6 Caliper Bracket Rotor Pads All matching. I say the best bet would be to get the bigger rear caliper. But I think we are confused on Can we use the stock caliper with the H6 caliper brackets and bigger rotors Or do we need to upgrade to H6/WRX calipers? I may have just made this more confusing.
  8. Silverline is kind of expensive. But overall not too bad to deal with. Excuse me for saying this. But they are Russian I believe to put it in to perspective. My friend bought his 04 STI from there. Was easy to work with.
  9. What? This got me confused. 2 sets of brackets? Are there not just one set of brackets (H6) for the rear?
  10. Okay so if I were to use the H6 rear calipers. The factory brake lines would work without upgrade or is that for the WRX rear calipers? And wouldn't the H6 Rear calipers be better then the rear WRX calipers? Thanks. This is really helping clear things up for me.
  11. So I am still trying to figure this out as well. So what did you come up with? Is it: H6 Rear Caliper Brackets H6 Rear Rotors Stock Caliper? WRX caliper? or H6 caliper? And what brake lines? I got lost at which calipers to use for the rear. I always thought it was everything "H6" (Caliper. Bracket, Rotors, Pads)
  12. For what its worth. I do know that I can use WRX brake lines on my 96 L. Not sure if that will help you in figuring it out.
  13. Yeah I am pretty sure the caliper bracket is there to support the bigger rotor and caliper. I will let someone else chime in. But I am 95% sure you will need to use the new caliper.
  14. It's a 96. Could be old and going. For the price I didn't see the down fall to it. But I don't plan on doing it at this point. Waiting for someone to balls up and get some Single Port headers done. That will complete my exhaust.
  15. When I was at the exhaust shop I was told I couldn't have a hi-flow cat put on? Because he said I need both cats and both 02 sensors. I know this. What did everyone else do?
