  1. I found a couple of Automatic Shift knobs for those interested. http://gearshiftknobsdeals.com/23-15690151-B00276U4XS-Pilot_Automotive_PM_2112E_Motorsport_Matte_Black_Shark_Automatic_Shift_Knob.html http://gearshiftknobsdeals.com/23-15690151-B0002MAWYU-Pilot_Automotive_PM_135S_Motorsport_Polished_Silver_Aluminum_Automatic_Shift_Knob_with_Carbon_Fiber_Insert.html
  2. I have hit almost 180k on mine. Takes a lot of abuse. Sure isn't just a daily driver. It sure can take a beating and come back for more.
  3. Don't need to be in JDM land. Just need to have the Internet and access to Ebay.
  4. My understanding is the better brand one are stiffer. They don't flex like the Ebay bars do.
  5. Yeah I thought WRX ones were from the rears and the Impreza was for the front. Now I am confused. Are you going to try the WRX rear bar?
  6. Anyone have a recommendation for a good looking battery tie down that's not really expensive? I hate the stocker.
  7. Yeah I am not sure why they can't make headers for the single port guys. I would think it would be CHEAPER and less work. I guess not. Some company could make some money if they just made some.
  8. Nope cause they could care less about us and the guy on RS25 just keeps having problems getting them out the damn door.
  9. I think it's really all how the brake line attaches to the strut. WRX and Legacy SS brakes lines will work. So in other words you can use WRX brake lines or Legacy lines. UNLESS you are using H6 rear calipers which I *Believe* have 2 lines on each side.
  10. I should've said I recommend. But it's really how far you want to take the motor.
  11. You have a lot of research ahead of you. Google "Subaru Frakenmotor" the 2.5 block with 2.2 heads you can make pretty good power. Cosmetic headgaskets and ARP studs are a must in this build.
  12. Adding this to the list of information. Camron if you could put it somewhere would be awesome. So you can use the 04 WRX calipers (or most others for that matter) with the H6 Rear Caliper Brackets. When you buy the caliper brackets they don't come with the "Brake Clips" which are the pieces that the ears of the pad sit in. The 04 WRX has a different pad design then the earlier years so you will need the different brake clips then what came with the 04 WRX calipers. 02/03 WRX calipers have the right Brake Clips you don't need to change. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Duralast-Brake-Disc-Hardware-Kit-Rear/2002-Subaru-Outback-AWD/_/N-jhsyxZ8kolf?counter=0&filterByKeyWord=brake+hardware&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=16044_0_0_
  13. There is a lot of I have planned. I need to get these STI mounts installed but cannot find anyone local on any forums to respond to give me some assistance on installing them. Not feeling like I want to crush my hand.
  14. Well chit. Was hoping to do a MBC and BB swap later. Can't dig up much info on iot.
  15. The ex may be taking the L so I will be looking for a 5 speed possibly.
  16. After some research last night I found that out as well. I think I would be okay with the WRX MBC over my L which to my understanding is quite small. I would probably skip on the STI MBC unless I got it for a good deal.
  17. Also would it matter weather I have an Auto or MT if I was able to do the swap and would ABS become a factor here?
  18. I know most of you guys are 4th gens. But I hate the squishy feel in my 96 L pedal. I have some 04 WRX calipers (Front & Rear) and am going to get the H6 rear rotor and bracket. With SS brake lines, Napa Blank rotors (premium) and Hawk HPS pads. I wanted to do a MBC and Brake Booster swap from an 04 WRX or should I go STI?
  19. I am revisiting this because I have been thinking about it. Does anyone know if an 02-07 WRX brake master cylinder and booster would be interchangeable and how hard it would be to do? Seems I can get an 04 Master Cylinder and brake booster from autozone for a hair over $200 any other things I would need?
