  1. well its not getting the DIT motor, and if you look at the existing 2.0DI FA motor and its tuning, it had a notorious TQ dip in the middle of the rev range than only headers and a tune could fix. we'll see how the 2.4DI block does, but i have no doubt that someone will do the 2.4DIT swap very quickly. I'm sure Cobb will be there every step of the way. the BRZ is a popular track/autox platform. we'll see what the tuners bring out of the new motor.
  2. I like everything about this new BRZ and forget the numbers, the real hero spec is the 2.4DIT mated to a 6MT

     

    Subaru needs any and all sources of excitement these days, especially when the GR Yaris is as powerful and overall a better performer than the WRX/STi

     

    we arent getting the GR yaris though.

  3. Hard to find wheels that I want in x8.5 width with that high offset

     

    not really. search tirerack.com under 2004 WRX STI, and you will easily find 30 or more wheels that are 18x8.5 that have an offset of +45 or higher that have the 5x100 bolt pattern needed for your car.
