  1. my bad, guys... i miscounted the empty bottles . and yes i poured a little more than 4L to hit the "H" mark. ps: the last two pics were the most hardest pic to take. i needed to adjust the light, not too bright and not too dim. While left hand was twisting the dipsticy to show the level, right hand was holding the phone and left one finger to click the focus and shutter ( you might see the oil was already out of pantient and starting to drip ... lol )
  2. its wired... 4L down, but the level is still not touching the "L" mark... ( i did level the car )
  3. front diff and trans are much easier (thts why i did the rear diff first), just tighten both nuts with correct torque, then started pouring the beer... i mean oil
  4. ok, now back to the 6mt trans/front diff ... nut from the oil pan side: 50Nm nut from the clutch housing side: 70Nm
  5. ok, just found the neck wasnt long enough to route over (or under) the exhaust...so i used a pump instead) it was little hard to pump when the bottle was about empty, so i opened a new bottle to continue, totally was 1L plus couple small pumps until it started dripping(overfill), then i tighten the upper nut with 34Nm.
  6. back of the magnestic drain plugs 1. trans/front diff (left, without washer) 2. rear diff (lower nut, above the washer)
  7. thanks Motul, the extensible neck that helps a lot to refill the rear diff (edit: actually i found its much easier to refill with the pump)
  8. ok here they are.. 1. left two gal-bottles were the total fluid from front trans + diff, the right one was from the rear diff. 2. left nut is from front diff (tool: T70) and the right one is the trans (tool: 10mm hex) 3. rear diff nuts, upper and lower as shown in the pic, are both 17mm (extention may need to remove the upper one, lower one with the washer is magnestic )
  9. agree, better brands actually has higher "GL" (EP addicitive) than they labeled, GL4 for instance, which prevents microweld(?) between gears and differential under high pressure/temperature. But yet, it's really depend on what compount of trans/differential are made of.
  10. yea, that's what i found here too. but just need some confirmation before pulling the oil. thanks again
  11. since last nite after got all fluid drained and i have no time to refill, i put all nuts back on in place, later today i will gather all nuts/tools and will post their closer-look, size and tools for the job once after i got all family matters taken care (sorry, little busy today.. Saturday family day, u knw )
  12. according to the menu on my last post above, the 6MT is different, it has Torsen instead of Viscous coupling. but then it just shown GL5 75w90.. sorry about my poor pic quality from my poor phone camera .. and so im trying to post more pic and info i still hope that would help if one day someone need it for his/her 6MT fluid change, coz it was so hard to find (maybe i'm the only one here who doesn't how to search!)
  13. just want to confirm before i drain the rear diff today, then refill all trans, front and rear diff with these gear 300, thanks
  14. ok, so what does he mean here " don't try putting specialty diff fluid like you have for the rear diff in there ... " ?
  15. really? i thought all trans/front and rear diff are all motul gear300 75w90 i finally removed both, the nut (clutch housing side) is 70Nm on the menu? i don't think so, i did soaked it with penetrating oil for a whole afternoon (8hrs?), then once more before. i ended up open it with a 3+fts breakerbar plus ton of fears!!
  16. thanks apexi, stupid me, your post just reminded me that i also have the vacation pic!!
  17. ok, i found refill the front diff at the same tube(?) where to fill the transmission fluid ... seriously??
  18. yes, just picked up from autozone.. now i need to figure out where to fill the diff fluid..
  19. i also found this but it just didn't show any about the size of hex key
  20. ok, now i have another problem... does anyone know what size this plug is?? it is exactly looked like the plug with blue arrow
  21. ok, i found this, looked much closer but just not sure if it's the same as my car, anyone please?
