chicks dont think of it that way because i'm so dead sexy! plus, i live in Chester.
p.s. Bill Kolb called, they're very upset with you for not purchasing your spec from them, they called SOA and blacklisted you already
Yeah, I just got a call from SOA saying that my warranty was void cause Kolb narced me out for modding, lol.
Good luck with the ladies and that "dead sexy" line. Maybe you mean to say you are sexier when dead?

Figures you would be hanging out in Chester, John. I mean, it rhymes with you nickname...:rolleyes:

I got more parts installed on my Spec B within 4 hours of getting it home than jr got on his in 1 year of ownership! SPT exhaust with Cobb hangers and Cobb rear sway with brackets and Perrin end links! Take that jr!
I don't let my mods pile up in the closet and under my desk. I don't need my desk to handle better, its just fine in the twistys stock.:lol::lol:
Dog pile jr!!!!!!
-
Sure as Hell didn't spot jr on his recent trip to LA! :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Durrr!. There is an epic fail of my car not keeping up with his 2.5i stage slow. youtube it!
Did you forget how to shift? You do know that 6th gear at 50mph is not good for launching, right? You should be ashamed.
-
Did anyone spot jr in his Spec-B getting schooled by john in his 2.5i? If so, is it just eye witness or is there damaging video?:lol:

wasn't me.. but how is that shannon rose place? i live like 5 min away from it..0
Been to Shannon Rose a few times for lunch. Not too bad. Decent selection of beers, some good ones on tap.
They have a cool round table that is slightly elevated above the restaurant floor. We call it the "king Arthur" table. Nice staff and good atmosphere for a "laid back" meal and drink. Stay away from the pasta dishes. It is a Irish pub.restaurant.

Yeah, I was looking at different color options on wheels. In the end, I think I like the wheels silver. Offsets the DGM nicely. I guess it is all a matter of opinion.
-
Ok cool thanks for the tips Mike!
Hopefully i wont have to replace anything, and I just have to tighten things up a bit.
How much tint you getting?
-John
Since Im going back to Cali I am tempted to murder it out. Limo all the way around. My last car was Limo in the rear and 35% up front. I'll prob. decide when I get there.

John,
If you think its your sways check your endlinks first. They tend to make a clunking sound. The bushings are more of a squeak. Check your top shaft nut on your struts too, could have come loose and give some play between the top hat and nut.
Sorry I'm missing the Fudd meet tonight. But I will be at Rutts. Might be a little late as Lee Berb is tinting my car at noon on Saturday. I'll be coming straight from him to the meet.

Could be..Did it have NJ plates.? Could be a dealer rep.
Don't think it had front plates and I didn't get a good view of the rear (we passed in a corner). But after thinking about it, it was deff. a 2010. Much taller than my car, and it looked wide coming towards me. Like I said the scoop in the hood is what got my attention and I am pretty good at spotting other Leggies.

You're just upset you didn't go to wayne subaru for yours  you made the mistake of goin to bill kolb at first
Went to Kolb. Didn't buy from Kolb. Lesson learned in just 1 trip.
-
^ You should skip the meet tomorrow and come with me to get some ink. You could get the first Wayne Subaru tramp stamp!:lol:
Thought I should flame people equally this week, lol.
I might have been tripping (I was up past 2 last night) but I swear I passed a black 2010 LGT heading into Pearl River from Montvale on Pearl St (304) at about 10 am this morning. I was heading towards Montvale. Only even recognized it because of the hood scoop.

wow WTH where did all that come form haha. the forester is for my mom.
Sorry. It was one of those off topic tangents that our tri-state threads seem to take every now and then. Might have something to do with the crappy weather. No harm intended.
By the way, you don't have to hide the fact that the Forester is for you. :rolleyes:We all know your Mom's got skills, yo. She could probably install all the parts on the Spec-B in the morning and be running laps at Englishtown by 2pm. At least she finally laid down the law and is going to drive that car like it was meant to be driven. Enjoy the Forester.:lol::lol:

Yeah, you might need to. In his old age he might forget what a turbo car drives like. His reaction time could be slowed. You should definitely help him out and at least test pilot the car for him. That way you can give his feeble, aging, dementia laden mind some insight on how the car reacts. Better safe than sorry.:lol::lol:
I should clarify. He will obviously be in this state by the time he gets all those parts installed.

^ Don't you know? If he gets a Forester he can drive it and then have time to install all his aftermarket stuff on his Spec-B, lol!

Mike aren't you glad you don't have to deal with kolb for much longer?
What? Bill Kolb RULES! I am thinking of naming my first born Bill Kolb (no matter if its a girl or a boy).
But really. They don't bother me anymore because I don't go there. I was actually on my way to Ace hardware when I passed Kolb. Only reason I stopped was to take a few pics of the 2010. If you look in 1 of the shots I posted you can see the back of the best looking LGT on there lot. The one I parked while taking the pics. Just to be a dick I left mt stereo CRANKED so a bunch of their customers migrated over to my car and away from the ones for sale. Bill Kolb can suck my #%*@!
-
^ Hmmmm...
Trying to take my glory?
Well I posted. And I posted pics. So, ne ner ne ner ne ner! I lay claim to my fame and will defend it to the death.
-
Spotted the 2010 LGT at Kolb yesterday. Took pics and posted in the Legacy news and rumors. It wasn't on the road, just in the lot. Does that count as the first 2010 spotting? If so I now have my claim to fame, lol!

Mothers day-Spotted '07 DGM LGT. Parked somewhere off the 287 in Nanuet. Don't want to give exact location because it looks like you work there. I parked next to you. Heck I made a photo shoot out of the spotting. If not for the crappy Hyundai parked next to you I could have got a better shot. Im the DGM Leggy on the left. You have the cleared lamps (with angel eyes, nice). Looks like coil overs, rear lip, borla exhaust, eye lids, cobb parts (stickers and plate surround), etc. Nice ride. Very close in looks to mine. Might be a member. Anyone claiming?
-
Spotted 05-06 RBP LGT Wagon (stock) on 59 in Nanuet. BK emblems on the back (I feel for the guy). But cool to see a wagon.
-
Maybe we're just too fast for anyone to see....
-John
I dont drive. I FLY low.
-
Saw a RBP GT Wagon on Route 9 in Marlboro yesterday.
Someone's gotta spot me sooner or later....almost 2 years I've had this car, and the only place I was spotted was in MD.
And I know its not because i dont drive, 32k on the odo now.....
Keep your eyes open!
-John
I've put over 15k on my '08 DGM in the last 8 months and an additional 3k on my '05 OBP in the same 8 months with no spottings. I must be invisible to everyone but COPS:lol:!
