  3. Your not kidding, I have started using all of these features on 08+ WRX's just because they are there. Not to mention per gear boost control/timing control which may or may not be in the CCF for the older models due to ecu logic etc. Regardless having fuel pressure/wideband etc is HUGE! We will be able to offer our services for $50 less than originally promoted on some and $100.00 off others due to discussions about the community we have built here. This was done specifically due to some customers feeling we had priced ourselves out of the market for them to enjoy our services and that was NOT the intention upon our return.   6. Colder air will always produce more power thus less throttle needed to produce the same power. Its VERY odd you have observed this since most times sitting in daily traffic vs nightly traffic is just the opposite but I have no reason to question your results, just another interested subject in your tests. the only way to truly test this is calculate *time spent idling, speed average, calculated fuel consumption over multiple tanks, miles traveled* to get a proper average etc.. I'm a geek when it comes to this stuff but at the same time NOTHING can be changed in the calibrations *especially the AVCS and CL tables* to find a norm.. Dave

We currently charge $800 for the flex fuel kit for the 08+ wrx which includes the fuel pressure sensor *a huge benifit due to the active fuel pressure differential options Our prices for Etuning these setups are $400 for the gas E-tune $375 for the E85 E-tune and that includes blending the flex tables together etc. Flex fuel was a big part of the training we just completed at the COBB HQ and went through the proper way to adjust all tables effectively for the best overall results. I imagine the pricing will be the same for the lgt if it's released. Obviously dyno calibrations are more expensive Dave

  15. This is great guys, keep those requests posted as it will be something I can refer to cobb once the list gets to where we know it will. The other thing to keep in mind is this is not just for flex fuel. The cobb custom features provide the option so you can dummy both TGV sensors and the rear 02 for custom sensors *ie fuel pressure,oil pressure and wideband. plus you can use the fp sensor to have an active fuel pressure differential which is very helpful for the "stumble" due to pressure resonance and changing fuel pressure at the rail. cool stuff for sure. 1. We have been trying to work out a way to reformat our services to employ the same great product and service we offered for the last 4 years but to keep things from overtaking all waking hours of the day! There are some major changes to the structure of our E-tuning process and some will be upset or discouraged but keep in mind that we have made these changes to still keep it possible to offer E-tuning services to those who want it. THIS WILL NOT BE FOR EVERYONE AND WE APPOLIGIZE IF THIS DOES NOT FIT INTO YOUR NEEDS. This is for those who pride themselves on a quality product, great communication and service and are willing to work through the details to have a quality product in the end. We are now doing the E-tune process by appointment only and a specific amount of customers at a time. We realize this may not be ideal for customers needing a tune immediately but contact must be made to see what the schedule looks like via email at www.cryotuneperformance@yahoo.com. We suggest planning your tune ahead of time to avoid issues and 2-3 weeks prior to the tune to make contact. This should be done in advance of installing the parts if possible so they can have a base map sitting in the inbox ready.   19. Actually at this point we could start a list but this will only be for visual reference. Emails to them directly are what really hits the triggers *obviously not the same person once a week but enough to show interest* Keep in mind that most times only about half the people at best who say they are interested actually purchase the kits.   20. Still no updates on this front but I'm still providing feedback to them when ever possible. Once we see the release for the 04-07 STI that will be a step in the right direction. Dave
  21. I have read this in a few different posts now and had to chime in due to being contacted by previous customers with questions and opinions. I am a true Cobb accessport advocate/Certified Cobb protuner and prefer using ATP in our shop any day over opensource due to many reasons including realtime tuning *which does not play into etuning unfortunately.* That being said I would be interested if you might be able to explain to your customers what major influential tables are missing in the 05-09 LGT ECU that would make an opensource calibration incomplete or a "lesser" calibration since it seems that's what you are promoting. Please correct me if I'm wrong and just making sure everyone is on the same page. Thanks Dave
  22. Just noticed this finally made it as a sticky. We started offering smoke test included in the price of every dyno tune at the shop quite a while back as this is one of the best things you can do for your car prior to a calibration. As these cars age they develop cracked vacation lines,intercoolers etc which play havoc on maf based fueling systems. Glad people are still finding this post useful!
