  1. Sounds like there should be at least 3 numbered spec b's there, we will have to get a picture of them seperate. Not like they are anything special its just I still regret not getting one at the track last year when there were three or four of us. Dave
  2. Yep sounds like you got lucky...bet if you were in an sti or maybe even an impreza you would have surely got a ticket....us lgts can get away with a little more it seems cause were "grown up".... bummer you wont be able to make it though. Ben just googlemap home depo in arvada and im sure you can get the address. Its right off I70 and wadsworth on the north west side of the street. Dave
  3. I will be leaving from arvada and could set up a meeting place for people in that area right at 52nd and wadsworth in the home depo parking lot around 9:15-9:30? That gives us easy access to I70 without loosing anyone in traffic lights and there is a mcdonalds in the parking lot for anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. So how does 9:15 sound for meeting up with a goal of leaving up to redrocks around 9:45? just figured I would offer. *btw I dont really intend on driving up I70 like jackasses twords redrocks so anyone looking for that should plan on not meeting up first* Dave
  4. I have seen a lot of chatter complaints about the act setup but not a huge amount of feedback on the clutchmasters fx300. I am sitting at about 380-400tq corrected with the hta68 on e85 and was very happy with my clutchmasters df in my talon. Any feedback asap is appreciated, i might buy today because of the black friday specials. Thanks in advance. Dave
  5. mabye I need to change the default folder to something other than the atr folder itself. thanks for at least confirming its possible, I will find a way. Dave
  6. When I go into the folder to pull up my logs in atr they are all listed there. When I go to that same file outside of atr the files are not listed anywhere. I have no issues with the logs I pull up through the handheld accessport but only ones saved in atr. any suggestions? *since it seems its possible I will keep trying but I have tried almost everything I can think of* Its not mandatory just kind of irritating. Dave
  7. Does anyone know if its possible to import logs from atr into excel to view on airboy's spreadsheet? I cant even copy and paste logs in atr to "manually" make a sheet in excel. Am I missing something or is it just not possible? I know RR saves in excel format but I am trying to use atr as well for it. Oh and on a side note, anyone know how to set the internal date on the ap v2 so logs done on that show the date instead of dec 5 2006? Thanks in advance Dave
  8. well I finally got everything hooked up the other day and started logging and checking some things I couldnt before *knock etc*. I am very happy with atr so far and am enjoying putting a LOT of research and studying into real world situations. With the mods I have now and e85 it will be a blast to fine tune everything if possible over my protune. Plus I am already researching the hta68 .... just figured I'd post my satisfaction... Dave
  9. you got my hopes up...lol...I have been waiting for that option on the handheld. anyway I got 2 more logs today, one showing a 3rd gear pull and pegged 6.5 da at WOT which is what the table is set at and one with a first and second gear quick WOT and you can see the da pegged on the first gear stab and dropped significatly on the second gear shift and pull. I will be going through and shifting the pipeing as I can hear a IC pipe chattering when I let off the clutch now that I am listening for it...just wanted to get some opinions to make me feel a little safer and that its false knock and not detrimental to the engine. feedback please. mods include catless up,down, K&N typhoon intake, X02 FMIC, vf40, modded stock injectors and running on my protuned 91 oct map at 5k feet. Edit: btw my DAM is at 1.0 and have not reset the ecu since the change back to 91 oct a few weeks ago.
  10. I will check that out tonight, thanks! Dave
  11. I don't have a laptop so I an stuck logging with the AP2 handheld which can't log knock correction or learned knock. I have to work with what i got. Dave
  12. I am seeing a decrease in DA after the shift and think it might be the IC pipeing rattleing because da goes back up after a second. When I do one gear pull with no shift I see 6.0-6.5 which is what the table is set at. Unfortunatly I dont have a clean third gear pull from 2000-7k but you can get the idea. I'd be interested to know what you guys think. #2 1st and second gear wot #3 3rd gear WOT
  13. So just to clarify the dealer will replace the rear bearing up to 100k on 05-06 legacy/outback but are the fronts only covered under 36k or 50k warranty? thanks in advance Dave
  14. how do you know if it comes with a factory sts? I dont think mine did since it feels much longer than the 02 wrx I had before. any way to easily identify?
  15. I just bought #224, Denver CO. what a pain but I got it now. Dave
  16. correct me if I am wrong but from the info I have gathered it is a different subframe design or using a little different mounting design. There are very few non 05 cars that have chimed in on this thread. I would say about 90 percent maybe? Mileage seems to not be relivent either. That leads me to believe I have much better luck not being affected by it if I go with an 06. who knows Dave
  17. Whats really sad is that as a person looking to trade my wrx in on a legacy gt I am now not even looking at any 05 models because this "could" be a problem after I go to staged upgrades and it would drive me absolutly NUTS!...and of course there are no 06's availible in my area right now. I've been checking back here for about a month or more now hoping that you guys were able to find a solution but it appears there is no easy fix for this other than passing up the 05 model entirely. that sucks Dave
