  1. There is two connectors (if I remember correctly) beneath the face plate that connect to the main board of the head unit. You might have a bad contact in one of them... Does all the control buttons are working correctly?
  2. It looks like I lost the count! I just realized this morning that I have another kit left. Brand new unit, never installed. Please contact me in pm for ordering! This time it's really the last unit that I have Thanks everyone!
  3. Heeee... SOLD OUT again! More to come soon Thanks all!
  4. Hi everyone, I have only one left in stock, so please send me a pm before ordering to make sure that I still have units in stock. If not, you will have to wait the time I order more parts. Thanks everyone!
  5. Yeah I know! There is no tracking with this shipping. Sometimes it takes up to two weeks, and sometimes less than 4 days... Strange! I have seen faster shipping in CA then in New York, but Montreal (where I am) is about at a 6 hours drive from NY! The length of the 3.5mm cable depends on where you pass it. Usually, 6 foot long is enough if the cable is exiting in the hash tray or for a cubby install. You'll need 8 feet or more if you want the cable to pass into the arm rest. The cables I had before were 12 foot long since 6 is not enough for all applications and 8 foot is not a standard length.
  6. Hi robinleg, unfortunately, my aux in module is not compatible with EU head unit (aka yours!). I have already looked at the schematics or your head unit and my design cannot be easily adapted to work in your car. It seems to have a pretty good interest in Europe for such a design, so I may design something for your head unit one day. I'm pretty sure that the Australian head unit is the same as the European one, so my design cannot be installed into Australian car neither. Keep the faith!
  7. There was some people that bought the first revision of my kit that were not able to use it when the source (mp3 or sat) was plugged into 12V. Now, this problem is fixed. Should I wear my fire jacket from now? Hopefully not!
  8. Yes I'm still making them and I still have some in stock right now ready to ship. Please have a look on my website for ordering.
  9. I'm not exploring a way to integrate the charging solution onto the aux in board. I'm using this http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/autopilot and it's working #1. I plug the griffin into the 12V outlet of the armrest and then, the audio cable is plugged into the griffin.
  10. Hi folks! I finally have some boards on hand ready to ship. To only concern is that the audio cable is on backorder from my distributor. You will have to buy yourself a stereo audio cable with a 3.5mm male plug at one end. The other end can be anything you like (3.5mm male plug, 3.5mm female jack, RCA’s connector, ipod connector, etc…). Total cost: 100$ USD shipping included. Paid by Paypal. Please leave my a private message and I will send you back my Paypal email address.
  11. Hahahaha!! Thanks Ridgeracer for your GREAT review
  12. It is true that my aux in uses the cd's audio lines. BUT I have a relay on board that disconnect the aux in when not in use. Also, I have a preamp stage with 12 dB of gain on it, so you don't have a low aux in audio volume compared to the head unit volume (don't know if it is said correctly...). Clearly, there is not problem leaving your ipod connected at all time to the aux input. I will not affect the head unit audio volume or quality. Trust me, this is really worth it!
  13. @Focus & pillboy: Your orders have been shipped today. Two weeks is the longer it can takes. I have seen 3 days turn around when shipping in California.
  14. Thank you for you good comments. I still have units availlable. But hurry up since quantity are limited. For those who would like faster shipping, I can ship in less than 10 days with a tracking for 10$ more, or in 4 days for 20$ more. Please send me a pm for ordering with faster shipping.
  15. The shipping included in the price is standard Canada Post Air Mail (same as USPS). It takes between 1 to 2 weeks for the package to arrive and I cannot provide any tracking number. Should you need faster shipping, please contact me in PM and I'll give you a quote.
  16. Yes, your order as been shipped 2009/10/09. It can take up to two weeks for the package to arrive. I sent you an email with your invoice, you did not received it??
  17. I have a small quantity of kits available for shipping. I may order more parts to build some more kits, depending on the demand. Please let me know if you want one even if you're not ready to order right now, so I will know how many parts to have in stock. For those that wanted one, please order quickly since I have only 8 units in stock. http://sites.google.com/site/leptronix/Home Regards, Sebastien
  18. Don't worry, all the ones that have been ordered have been shipped or will be shipped later this week. DocHolladay23, yours has been shipped last monday, so you should receive it within 1 to 2 weeks. Again, I'm sorry for the extra time. I asked the post office to find out why my package came back and it seems that the officer erred by reading the Canada Post label. I think there is a lack of training from Canada Post; they are not even able to read their own label!
  19. I'm currently out of stock. I should have more kits availlable within a month. Please stay tuned for updates!
  20. A little reminder: I have only two kits in stock
  21. I send it last monday but Canada Post returned the package to my house ??? I don't know why since I already sent above 40 packages like this one withtout any returns. I will re-send tomorrow. Please apologize
