  1. Hi there! If I can get 5 people that are interested in buying an aux in kit from me, I'll do a new batch for y'all! Please start a list whit your name in it!
  2. Hahaha! Indeed! I ran out of orange wire but I only found yellow wire as replacement. I said myself it was close enough! Don't worry it's exactly the same thing
  3. For now I have no plan to build more. However if the demand is still there I might reconsider and order new parts. I also heard that there are some available on the used market so you can have a look there too!
  4. Bez, I specially like your Quebec french knowledge! That's funny to see "asteur" coming out from an english speaking person! :lol:Would like to hear that!
  5. It looks like there is an impedance problem with your ipod dock connector. You may find the not very helpfull, but maybe you should just use the headphone output from your ipod? I don't believe there is so much difference in sound quality vs the dock connector. You could also try to use a 12V powered ipod dock instead, it will charge you ipod at the same time!
  6. Okay. That's strange... Let me know how it goes.
  7. Ok good. First we need to isolate the problem, and for that we should go a simple as possible. Could you try plugging the ipod headphone output directly to the auxin input (without the external DAC)? Can you switch back to radio when you are having the problem or not?
  8. Scrambles, I don't remind having read your email. Maybe it went straight to the junk box... I don't really know why you are having those problems with your unit... Did you plugged your ipod into the 12V outlet when you are using the aux in? For how long have the aux in board been installed? Did it always had that problem or is it doing so since a short period of time? Did you try with a different source? Like a Samsung phone, a bluetooth device or a sat radio? I'm willing to help you but you need to provide more details.
  9. Up! I'm still making new units, but I wont make them anymore once I have depleted all the parts that are in stock. The ordering rate is pretty low now, so once, which is understandable given that the cars are getting quite old. For those of you that are looking for a aux-in solution in their 2005-06 LGT, this is the best solution available! After that, I need to find a new idea of product for the 5th and 6th generation!
  10. It's almost summer! Plenty of nice weather to come to install you aux unit in your car Guys, I'm still making new units, so don't hesitate to order yours! Right now I have units in stock and ready to go!
  11. @mambi: You probably have a bad connection on the connectors inside your head unit. You should verify and clean the connectors between the main board and the front control board. Did you try to press on the front of the unit to see if anything change?
  12. Aux in boards are in stock ready to ship!
  13. The H6 head unit is the same as the one of the XT. Same installation as the LGT too!
  14. Hehe, yes! Je suis de la rive-sud de montréal! I can do the install if you like!
  15. Up! It's been a long time! 2014 spring update, kits are still available! Same price, 115$ CAN, but the Canadian dollar value went down, this is good for you USA folks
  16. Usually I try to have a small quantity in stock, between 5 and 10 units. But the sales were slow for the last month or so, so my stock is low too! I have received orders recently, I will ship them as soon as I get back home, in 1 1/2 week... Yeah I know, this is in a long time... I will send emails to buyers about that delay.
  17. I'm back home now and all pending orders will tomorrow, on Monday. Envoyé depuis mon GT-N8013 avec Tapatalk
  18. That is not right! You are supposed to be able to use the aux in while in radio mode, this is the purpose of the yellow wire! You should check your soldering of the yellow wire that goes from the aux-in module to the main pcb of the head unit. Make sure to follow the instruction carefully. I'm pretty sure that the wire is not soldered to the correct component pad. Check that out quickly since you may damage your unit by doing so. Good luck and keep me in touch!
  19. You probably have a loose connection somewhere. Did you verify that the flat cables are fully inserted? One may have come out when reinstalling the cd changer if it wasn't fully inserted. Also, what kind of noise do you have? Is it whinning noise only when the car runs or you have a noise even with the car turned off? Is it only when the aux-in is active? Did you try the aux-in input while your headunit is on the radio AND when it is on CD player? More info would be appreciated. If you think your unit is bad, send it back to me and I'll send you another one.
  20. Yes! Units are in stock ready to ship! Envoyé depuis mon Nexus 7 avec Tapatalk
  21. Are you sure that the connectors in the back are all installed and well clipped? Also, sometimes the front panel is not fully inserted into the main board, check that as well. Finally, does your fuse have blown? Envoyé depuis mon Nexus 7 avec Tapatalk
  22. Its been a long time since the last update, this a remainder to everyone to let you know that the boards are available.
  23. Hi to all! All pending orders will be shipped next monday, April 22nd. Don't hesitate to order while I have units in stock. They are going surprisingly fast!
