  1. TTT! Units still available!
  2. All the way to the top! Still have modules availlables right now!
  3. Thanks for the advise, it looks like I forgot this one. The price as changed since the beginning because of the exchange rate between CAD and USD. Also, I cannot include the audio cable anymore in my kit since the prices you can have in US are better than what I can find here. So it is better for you to purchase it local. Remember, the audio input on the aux in card is standard 1/8 stereo headphone plug (female, same as on the ipod).
  4. FINALLY! I had some time to finish building the boards. So I have units in stock right now ready to ship! Please use the link on my webpage for ordering, thanks! Also, one reminder, if you are not located in the US (aka in Canada), please contact me BEFORE ordering, since shipping charges are different.
  5. Man!! I got to hurry-up! The unit can be installed without the remote switch, but it's a nice to have feature. When not installed, the unit will be on "auto" all the time.
  6. Hi all! I have more than 10 potential buyers, so the parts have been ordered but I still have to mount and test new units. I should have stock available within a week or two.
  7. I'm out of stock right more, but I'm seeking for more interest of the community. If you may be interested in installing a unit, please send me a pm and I will contact you back when more units will be availlable.
  8. Nice install cypher! For those that are on the fence and deciding, I only have 3 units left, don't know when I will order new pcb's though.
  9. Hi all! That was gonna have to happen, I had to increase the price because of the exchange rates between CAN$ and USD$. The price is now 115$ shipping included. I can combine shipping for multiples items to lower the cost. I still have some units in stock, but in limited qty. Thank you everyone!
  10. This is a spring reminder, to let you know that I have bought new parts so I still have kits on hands ready to ship. For the moment the price is still unchanged (100$ shipping included), but I may not be able to include to shipping for long since the $CAN is almost 1:1 with USD$, so hurry up!
  11. Heee... that's not funny. You need to find a switch that is at least SPDT on-off-on type. The connector could be 187mils quick connect, but you can always solder the wires directly onto the switch. Here is the datasheet of the switch I'm using: http://www.cherrycorp.com/english/rockers/pdf/SR_Round_Series.pdf model SRJ24A3BBBNN Good luck!
  12. I still have two in stock right now. I will order new parts maybe next week, since there is a great demand for the modules right now.
  13. Do you really think I will tell my secret to everyone?? Hahaha! Just try it and you'll see that it works
  14. Okay, I finally wrote the little instruction manual for the 2.5i single disc head unit. Please have a look on my web page. Now I'm able to include a stereo audio cable, 10' long into the kit for 8$ more. Please send me a pm before ordering if you need one.
  15. All your orders have been shipped out. Unfortunately, there is no tracking availlable when shipping to USA... It may takes up to 10 work days for the package to arrive. I never had a package that was not delivered. If this happens, there is a 100$ insurance. Be patient, it is worth the waiting!
  16. Hi latogne, Since you don't need to have a cd in the changer for the aux in to work, even if your cd changer is defective, the aux in will work. Personally, my head unit is always on the fm radio since I don't use my cd player anymore.
  17. I'm using this and it works very well. http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/autopilot However, there is a little "hisss" noise when the ipod is been recharged, and it looks like it is caused by the dimming of the led in the autopiot . The great advantage is that the audio cable is permanently connected to the autopilot and there is only one cable to be connected to the ipod for recharging AND playing audio. As for the audio cables, here are some suggestions: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021802&p_id=645&seq=1&format=2 http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021802&p_id=5578&seq=1&format=2 And before you ask, I'm not ordering these because of the stupid shipping charges to Canada , I prefer to let you order them individually.
  18. I'm ready to take order since I have units in stock right now. As the last batch I did, I will sell my kit without the audio cable for 100$. I could include a high quality cable for 15$ more, please ask before ordering. http://sites.google.com/site/leptronix/ Thanks everyone!
  19. My aux in board is not compatible with the GX-201KH. Maybe I will make one for your head unit one day, but I don't know when.
  20. Pretty sure that the head unit you have in Austria is not the same as the USDM one. If that is the case, then my aux in module is not compatible with your car. What is the number on the front of your head unit?
  21. to 05legacy: Okay, I will admit the I did not listened to your audio file, but I have some information for you. 1. I have exactly the same setup as you (ipod + griffin) and I don't have any noise at all. 2. Can you hear the same noise only with the switch in the "on" position without anything connected? 3. Maybe your switch connectors makes contacts with the frameof the car, so you have a ground loop, because only the audio input is isolated. Try to remove the switch from where it is and let it in the armrest, or any where else where it is not touching any metal. 4. Then, unplug the audio cable from any source and put the switch in the "on" position. Do you still hear the noise? If yes, I'm sorry to say that you'll have to remove your head unit and check everything back. 5. If you think that my unit is defective, you could send it back to me and I will send you a new one. But I want to tell you that every unit I have sold have been tested for functionality and quality. To everyone: I have ordered parts to build new units. I am VERY busy at my day job these days, but next Sunday I will build modules all day long, so I should be able to take orders next week. I also have other projects I have to do, but the aux is in first priority
  22. Thanks everyone for your good support and for your goods comments!
  23. Okay, I'll try to have more units in stock within a month. I am very busy these days...
  24. I will order more parts soon to build more units. If you want one, send me a pm and we will get organized.
  25. You have to be sure that the front of the head unit is fully "pushed" so that the connectors have a good contact. You might have to get the head unit out, and just firmly press the center of the front against the rest of the head unit. I have disassembled and reassembled my head unit 4-5 times and I never had this problem. To everyone: All units are sold!
