  1. Hi JimyJoeBob, Yes I will have a last set of modules in stock this week. You may order anytime.
  2. Yes, units are currently available
  3. All pending orders will be shipped tomorrow! Sorry for the delay guys, I have two little child (3 years and 3 months old) at home that are getting a lot of my attention
  4. Yes this is typical. But why don't you put your head unit on fm radio instead of playing discs?
  5. I'm sorry, I really don't know why it would work on a blackberry and not on a iphone?? I have tested multiple audio source without any problem... ashdoggy: I have to build more unit. Should have some in stock within a week. The price of the unit, including shipping can be found at http://sites.google.com/site/leptronix/
  6. Depending on the style of music you are listening at, the auto function may not behave properly. Listening to classical music per example may not have enough amplitude to engage the auto mode. A second advice you should observe is to put the volume of your iphone pass 85%. Let me know if this corrects your problem.
  7. Yes it would be in line with the jack. Let me know if you are interested into that.
  8. If you like, I can build you custom attenuators that would lower the signal level to a more appropriate level. The aux in gain was adjusted by using the headphone output of my Ipod and Zune players. I found that without any gain, even with the volume at maximum on both mp3 players, the sound level from the head unit through the speakers was not high enough. I then decided to raise the gain, and the best one was approx 12dB of gain.
  9. Do you know what is the output level (in RMS voltage)?.
  10. That's bad ... You need an attenuator then. You may use one that provides 12dB of attenuation since it is the gain of my module (kind of thing you use to connect speaker output to an amp input). Of you may wire a stereo potentiometer so that you will be able to adjust the level. But, are you sure you don't have any level adjustment on your mp3 player?
  11. Yes it works! http://sites.google.com/site/leptronix/Home/2_5i_Installation_ver1_0.pdf?attredirects=0
  12. It's almost impossible for someone to remove a SMT component without desoldering it. I'm pretty sure that this part was never soldered on the board, maybe it was there from the beginning of the radio life... I don't see where this part could go on your pictures. Did you try your head unit after you found this resistor? I would suggest you to try it and see if everything works well.
  13. You should have to put your volume to 90% for the aux to work correctly. I'm personnally using a Griffin adaptor through the iPod connector without problem. Does anyone else is having this problem? Edit: Are you sure that your audio connector is correctly connected? Maybe you have a short somewhere?
  14. TTT!! Units are in stock right now. It is the best moment to install before the winter arrives!
  15. New boards are in stock. I am only waiting after the remote and audio cables to arrive (should arrive this week). However, please don't hesitate to submit your order right now for those of you that are waiting. You will see that I added more buying options on my web page. There is the option of buying the module without the remote cable. I offer it even if I do not recommend to let the module always in auto mode. However, this may be useful for particular setup. Don't hesitate to contact me if you don't know which option to choose. https://sites.google.com/site/leptronix/ Thank you everyone!
  16. Thank you to have been one of first to trust my design! You can use any type of SPDT switch (standard from C switch). Make shure that it is a on-off-on type. Have a look at http://www.digikey.com!
  17. It's great that everyone seems to be happy with their installation! I am still asked questions about if I am making these boards and many peoples are interested of buying a unit. So I finally decided to order more pcb's and parts to build new units. I will have new units in stock, ready to ship, within 2 weeks, so please don't hesitate to place your order! There will be more buying option: - Full kit including remote switch and 3.5mm male-male AUDIO CABLE - Kit including remote switch but no audio cable - Kit including audio cable but no remote switch (aka the unit will only work in auto mode) - Kit including the board only (no audio cable and no remote cable) Pricing will be adjusted in consequence. Regards, Sebastien
  18. Okay folks, only one left! By the way, I'm looking at ideas for custom electronic engineering. It can be car related or not. Please PM if you have some ideas or for info.
  19. It can takes up to two weeks for the package to arrive. If you have not received it after that, please let me know.
  20. Mmmmm... Try to heat the tape a little and press it hard against the bcp. If you see that it's really not sticking to it, apply one or two layers of electrical tape to the underside of the pcb. It may stick better after that.
  21. Boards are assembled and in stock for shipping. I will ship within 1 to 3 days after receiving your payment. Currently, there are 9 boards fully assembled and there are 12 others in route, so for a total of 21. When all those will be sold, I do not plan on making more units since I want to concentrate on other projects. I have to remind everyone that my aux in works only with USDM cars. Also standard shipping does not allow tracking and it can take up to two full weeks for the package to arrive. I saw shipping delay as less as 4 days sometimes also. I can provide tracking number, but you will have to pay an extra. Finally, orders in Canada must contact me before ordering since the shipping cost is not the same as in USA.
