and it fired up ! :D:D::D:D:D:D:D i will mess with it more tomorrow. but happy to get that far ! what is left to do .. headders motor mounts

so i'm back from germany. Its time to get things thing finished! pictures .. well i pressed in some m10 nuts in to the adapter plate for the bell housing screws to screw into. and counter sunk some screws to clear the tranny to bolt the plate to the engine.

hey guys! keep up the good work! For now i am going to be using the megashift from megasquirt to control my tranny. its about 250$ what i am thinking is it has can comunication also, and maybe it could be made to talk to the ecm making it think its the tcm. or in my case disconnect the subaru's tcm ability to do anything to the tranny let the mega shift do that and just disable the p0700 code. only thing left would be the sport light flashing.

yea buckaru ! i like that !!! as for the flywheel i made an adapter plate but its big and heavy. so i jsut decided to weld 3 nuts on to the torque converter. clearence .. just the hood the top of the intake is just ever so touching the top of the intake. i think i can move the engine tranny back and up an inch to get it to tip down.

the thing i was realy worried about was the centerdiffrential but i have eliminated it with my rwd / 4wd modification. and megasquirt's megashift will shift it for me. as long as i can make sure the shifts are about 1/4 second. the clutch packs will last. also with megasquirt i can kill the engine during shifts to help the tranny out if nessasary. but i have already went over this early in this thread!

Yay push rods fit !! The long block is assembled megasquirt 2 assembled as well as the megashift. The rwd - 4wd conversion has been done. Now I gotta go back to warshington and show some mericans what to do

I just got in a set of push rods in as well with bunch of fittings for the fuel system and turbo drain. So I will assemble the rest of the engine and drop that bitch in !

u use a document scanner when ever i can, then simply drop that off in autocad trace out what i need scale it and send to laser cut shop. if you guys need anything laser cut just scan it with a ruler in the image and i'll make a few .. we have things laser cut every day so i sneek a few things in here and there.

Well I have pretty much everything procured already. I bought a legacy wagon 2.5i last week for my maw. And it's great I have been working 60-70 hours a week mostly oversees so I'm taking it easy for a few days before I dive in to the 3.8 subie full blast

sory guys been swaped with work. just got back from the west cost. I had a laser cut ring made with 3 holes in it this ring will be welded to the front of the torqconverter the holes tapped. so the stock gm flex plate will be used. the motor plate wil be 1" thick aluminum waterjet cut with both bolt patterns cut in to it and counter sunk in the nessasary places. i need to procure a new tig. since the chineese one for 400$ died. then i will start fitting up the headders.

and finaly .. have you been able to get the cruise to work ? and abs to work correctly ?

I have nothing against it but I'm not using any of the same parts ie I'm automatic and Buick engine with megasquirt

nope .. going to make a copy of the crank triggor .. so the ecm gets tach signal so the drive by wire and cruise will work .. going to hook up the same colant temperature sensor .. so .. not very worried .

pistons rings cam bearings = summit racing head gaskets local autoparts guy .. and wham 600 hp buick engine
