  1. The center diff could be controlled a bunch of ways 3'position switch. Open auto locked. The auto would be based upon engine map and off when in 5 th gear But I think I will xo the exact same as with my 2wd 4wd. And yes of coarse I will share all the info with you guys
  2. They will just be engaged all the time with thier specific gear
  3. here is the completed motor mounts - the polyurathane wil get tomorrow. at the corner store
  4. so motor mounts .. the small steel tube will be bolteh trough the adapter plate and bell housing . the large outer tube will have a braket attached and bolted to the frame. the difference will be a poly urathane billet shoved in .. oh and i got a little agressive with the rad support so its GONE hehhehe be agressive be be agressive !

  6. what turbo ? going to be in the same place as i had the holset on 2.5 in stock location but twisted. I just need to make the up pipes. having some laser cut peices made for flanges. next step is mount the rad and power steering and altenator.

  8. haha not yet i'm riping my hair out trying to get the subie ecm to take tach signal ! expecially since it did it for two minuits ! now i just can't get it to do it again.
  9. one thing more i will try is to machine a block of steel or aluminum to place the subie crank sensor in insead of it hanging of by mount. maybe there is some funky feild generation thing going on ..
  10. mega squirt is not only fuel management ! it controls spark timming boost, launch control fans fuel pump what ever ! and i had it running normally for two minuits ! the tach worked ! so it is very possible. security system is not an issue because i'm replicating the stock engine. and the key switch and all that stuff is still there. and i backed it out of the garage and drove back in on its own power ! sad side is i have to remove the a/c system for room for the rad and fans. maybe i will reinstall the a/c at a later time but i need to get this thing moving !
  11. made it this far! i cannot get the fuel pump to stay running i don't know if it is because the crank triggor or some other reason. edit: the crank trigor gives signal to the subie ecm i can see the on off parameter for the crank triggor but the ecm is not seeing engine rpm. i know i does not need the cam sensors connected because i have ran the stock engine with them disconnected. anothe weird thing is i am not getting power to the coils ( i'm using that power to feed the buick coil pack and i had to by pass it ) what i'm thinking is the subie ecm is not letting anything happen because it does not see resistance of the injectors and/or ig coils. so i am slowly puttin resistors in to simulate something being there.

  13. here is the subie crank triggor that i made from laser cut steel, it will give the subie ecm some thing to do and make the stock tach work as well with stock tranny function for the time being. Oh and the drive by wire stuff !
  14. the throttle body are pretty close to the same size. but the lgt one is actually bigger !
  15. if you look carefully its a picture i posted a while ago ! right now next step is fitting the lgt drive by wire throttle body to the buick intake. and then subaru crank triggor.

  17. 1" thick aluminum plate no clearencing to the tranny at all pressed in nuts # 1 very strong # 2 minumin diameter of holes for water jet is 1/2 the thickness so the holes are 1/2" i was thinking of heli coil also but m12 isn't big enough it would have to be 1/2" thread then i would of had to drill the tranny bigger. the engine is probably 550 ft/lbs tq
  18. wahoo laser cut stuff came in ! the thing that looks like a fan is in fact a fan. just an idea will put it on the end of the crank shaft. the other thing is subie crank triggor wheel thanks to burnout 8488
