barking sound? i feel like common boost-then-liftoff sounds are compressor surge. maybe some waste gate control / sticking issues?

Love it! And I agree with going trunk lip.

so much wagon awesomeness on this page.

That sounds fun.
The Borla exhaust is fantastic. Perfect amount of volume, especially with a DP. Nice deep, smooth sound.

oh my word that white on blue looks incredible.

Installed and bled my front Wilwood BBK calipers. I desperately need to clean the car on Monday after all this midsummer rain passes (midsummer in California). What’s not pictured here is all the dirt on side doors, trunk, and front bumper from one highway trip. Good thing I didn’t pull the trigger on installing summer tires yet.
You were ripped off and sold a set of poomlim calipers instead....

Pretty brilliant though. That cat just instantly calmed down.
it's where their mother grabs them when they're kittens so they immediately fall into lay dead mode. there's thoughts out there from animal people that it's also stressing out the cats because typically it only happens during times where the mother has to make an escape. Not sure if I believe any of that... it's so weird people putting their feelings into pets, like those that claim hugging dogs gives them anxiety attacks

damn, dude. living your best life. glad to hear you're still doing crazy shit.

You'll get a moderate increase in volume inside the cabin but outside should barely be noticeable. maybe a little deeper.

bought a new computer. It was cheaper than waiting for the site to load.
quantum computer en route to handle browsing.

Change theme to vBulletin default.
this did not fix the ads for me. site seems a little quicker, though.

Still seems slow for me and also seeing blank Sponsored Links ads in line with forum posts (there's three on this page, default forum settings). A number of other users reporting the blank ads as well.

I'm a bit more intrigued by the plastic bottle beer with the polar bear on it.

dark blue (I think) LGT just now in Woburn in the parking lot with Pet Smart, Chipotle, Bob's Furniture.

it's not always. You'll learn when and where they happen in the RPM / load range.
Daily puttering around in D or S has almost no problems. I used to drive mainly in manual mode so sometimes i'd part throttle shift in odd RPM / load ranges and it wouldn't be happy.

"rooster" beats "cat"

How's low speed and low throttle shifts? When I watched the video of the f1 on the dyno it looks brutal lol.
I may do the transgo route then, just need to figure out who to get it from.
part throttle shifts are tough but you can learn how to make them not clunk. have to learn to sort of feather the throttle at the right time.
I'm still having some issues with my 5EAT after replacing a bad VB and resetting the TCU, correctly. If I go medium hard on the throttle, I get a kick when gears change from 2nd to 3rd. I also will get a kick on downshifts periodically.
I can drive it around and avoid the kick by driving slower and less punchy on the peda. But if i push on it a little bit, it will kick from gear 2 to 3. Same happens on the downshift.
I replaced the VB in October 2017. Reset my TCU with the above mentioned method...
Any advice is welcomed.
thanks and happy 4th!
are you part throttle when this is happening? I've found, while part throttle, you sort of have to sense when it's going to shift and back off the pedal a little just before that.
are the requested torque tables (I think these are the ones, utc_pyro [i think] might know better... the ones that have to do with injector pulse width) updated in your tune if your injectors are larger? it helps the TCU know better what the real requested torque is and might have an impact.

there were a few people who went with transgo and were very happy. they were basically pathfinding for what ClimberD ended up with his F1. I have his F1 and it really does change the car.
I'm not sure my tuner was aware of the calculated torque stuff, though. Luckily it doesn't get as much driving as it used to so it's fine for now.

anyone work at Ebi Sushi in Somerville? I saw a Black LGT parked along side the building when I went to pick up my food the other night.
What did you do to your 4th gen. Legacy today? Vol - 10

(stupid quote thing still giving me problems)
Damn! After that build it's sad to see you getting rid of her. Wish I could fork over what you want for it... start a wagon collection and a LGT collection. It was beautifully done.
