I do not know what to tell you. I got the GLI along with the Jazzy Mod so maybe that is why I did not notice. However the volume is lower via the jazzy mode compared to the regular CD playback.

You would probably need a 10' extension. You can route it under the back seats and through your center console.
I did it with a 6 ft extension and I thought I would never put the carpet and the back seat back together.
Dashboard...center console...E-Brake...under carpet...left rear passenger footwell... along left rear door (under the plastic trim)...trunk
You need nimble fingers and one long thin metal coat hanger...and run 2 ropes. You will not be able to pull ALL cables at once...so you have to do it one by one...but you wanna make sure that you do not spend 2 hours every time you want to pull that rope under the carpet. Hence two ropes (one always drags the other...and one always drags a cable - or one long rope and you attach the cable to be pulled in the middle so the edges are always clearing the carpet at either end). And please choose a warm day to do this. And a good night sleep. No kids and women around or pissy neighbors.

Cool...but made in China ? Not that anything else is not made there...My issue is that it is very compact - I assume it runs HOT. Also, no USB but rather bluetooth. One could buy a police pc and a screen though

I saw an almost white GT parked on my street.
Could have sworn is mine, but mine is black.

YES and NO.
The place for navigation really is the cubby. Because that is where the manufacturer intended it.
The other advantage to its OEM location over the stock radio position is that you do not tilt your head and look so far down on the screen when driving. That is much safer IMO. Some cars - like Mercedes and Jaguar - still have it there; but IMO the higher up and integrated in the dashboard (as opposed to the center console) the better.

The IG3 plugin works flawlessly for me and I customized it to cover more screen (over the centrafuse music buttons).
The toolbar issue i have but I looked past it.
I am running the Enginuity ...forgot which version I think the last one that made it on the website 047 ? for which I run the comand line and i have it embedded in Centrafuse. Works fine. Not the smoothest startup but works ok. Load the profile and that is it. I have a touchpad which simplifies mousepoint operations

So what is the story on this IG4 and the plugin ? Working or not ?
I have had the IG3 and the plugin for well almost a year now...and I am afraid to upgrade to IG4 for fear of serious headache afterwards.
I have not tried yet. Can IG3 and IG4 co-exist ? When I install IG4 i just want it on one machine...no funny licensing issues afterwards I hope. One machine ID, one license and that is gonna be my car pc. But I need some reassurance the process is smooth. How did you upgrade ?Is it just as simple as installing IG4 and not touching the centrafuse plugin ?

I am actually happy with Cenrafuse. I never got to create playlists the way it is supposed to work...I just couldn't so I just resolved to reorganize my entries in folders...
Thru Centrafuse I get my Navi (IG3), my music, my E-dashboard (Enginuity), weather, web - as a matter of fact these 5 buttons figure on my first screen. Well hold it...web is on the second page since I put Hiberante and Shut down on the first.
Overall, I am happy with Centrafuse.

Don't you love it when n00bs start organizing things...
Good luck.

Does Soobie Doobie Doo post any other doo anywhere else but in this thread ? Cause it stinks and shoudl be cleaned up of this intellectual garbage that shit don't happen cause it does not happen in his neck of the woods.
I have been flashed by cops many times (incoming) for headlight issues. Whether stock or the Osram ones. I reply with the long beam. I was stopped once and told him that is how the car came. And mine ain't that HID obscene brilliant, just white slightly yellow.
And Heights...stop contributing to this thread's pollution. If he ain't getting banned for mental, at least let him talk alone. And if you feel you wanna talk to him, do it in private.

30 grand is now excessive -that is more than the car listed as new.
I spent some money myself. Enough to make me question my intellect.

A guy on the mp3forum did that and I was able to do it as well. Have it just start the logger directly.
PM me for details.
If you are so overwhelmingly generous...explain it here so everyone can benefit.

someone should sticky this thread
-
On NASIOC they said i can do this with the newest test version of Enginuity. Just run the logger.bat file.
But who can send it to me ?
-
Yo Seb...go back to the first posts. I attached pix.
pix dissapeared. they are off-road only, genuine shit and came in individual sealed boxes.

Quick question - surely addressed before...so go ahead and kill the n00b.
I would like to start the DATA LOGGER in ENGINUITY directly - without going thru the main screen then clicking the Logger shortcut.
I have a car pc installed in my car and I love the "dashboard" one of the better ones out there - and there's no need for ELM scan and other tools. I can embed ENginuity in Centrafuse (my front end software) with no problems, but it would be awesome if my touchscreen shortcut tok me directly to the data logger. Any way of doing that ? Thanks.

You are an exception. I know the NASIOC crowd has 2 more FXTs and that is the extent of my knowledge...now 4 FXT strong.

saw a black LGT sedan on the Kennedy after 8am today. Tints all around and debadged trunk.
I was in my new WRB FXT Sport.
We waved and gave a thumbs up to each other.
I almost picked up a Spec B but functionality was a bit more important for me then luxury.
That was me. You had the roof bars. I remember. Rarely see an Forester guy friendly with the rest of turbo Subarus. Glad you are one of the boys. Please join us in the club and at our meetings.
BTW you need to tint those fronts.

Man...if you go back to the beginning of this thread, I have all the detailed pix. His design and mine are very similar.

Extreme temperatures will wreak havoc on spinning disks with a few microns separating head from platter. That concerns me.
Well I made it thru a hot summer. Let me see what winter brings. I could live with replacing the hard drive once a year but yes...i would switch to a flash memory at least for the operating system.

I used a DVD case cut up as per someone from mp3-car.com and once again, hot glue.
straight up from here

I am happy with my Carnetix PSU (1900 series I believe). Can be upgraded to have a 12 V, a 19 V and a 5 V output (separately) for up to 165 Watt (I think). I am "using" half. But the higher the wattage, the cooler it will run. I would always try and calculate (ex. laptop runs at 19 V x 3.5 Amps + monitor 12V x 2.0 Amps + USB Hub 5 V x 1.5 Amps = 98 Watts. A 100 W would be insufficient. A 120 W would be cutting close. A 150 W would be ok)
